I don't know what to do!!!

Hey Caroline - you don't have to 'fall off the wagon' if you have a green and white meal - just plan to have that day on SS+ rather than sole source. I'm doing SS+ because for me it helps to have that small 'real meal' at the end of the day.

OK i've only done one week so far - and that was a slow step down into CD (as recommended!) so I did 2 x 1200 days, 1 x 1000 day, 1 x 810 day, 3 x SS+ days - and I lost 7lb!

Have continued on SS+ this week and weigh in is tomorrow - think I've hopefully lost another 3 or 4lb.

My point is - rather than thinking of it as a "day off" or a "meal off" the plan - plan to have the day on a different step of the plan.

Is it too late for your mother to change her plans and do a Roast Chicken dinner rather than a Roast Beef dinner? That way you could have your very small portion of chicken and green veg and it would look more like everyone elses? If not then personally I would go with cooking a separate meal for you - a green and white as detailed in the SS+ plan - and then you can be sat there "eating" with everyone else. Hey if you save a soup as well you could even have a starter.

Mentally I think if you plan to 'have a break' its harder to get back on the wagon - but if you plan to have a different - allowed - day - then you are still on plan and mentally its easier to get back into sole source the next day.

Hope your sister has a nice birthday whatever you decide.

regards
Pamela

It's not easy to sit and watch while everyone else is eating...but it is possible!Last weekend I had to go out to 3 different restaurants(baby's christening and relatives visited from Poland)...and I sat there and had my soup or a shake.Yes I was almost drooling, but I got through it.And it got easier each time.I personally wouldn't eat, but good luck with whatever you decide to do.
