thats the mindset you need to get out of, treat yourself with something else - I go for a facial or massage or have my eyebrows waxed, hair cut anything but food xx

Hey hon

You've just got to accept that at present you have no control over food so there is no such thing as "i'll just have one" or "i'll treat myself with just this". Use this time to learn how to treat yourself in other ways or else you will battle this weight problem for the rest of your life.

Oh dear. I thought you were quiet after your WI. I agree with Moley, treat yourself with something other than food - you are using food to celebrate and that's where the trouble starts.

So, today is a new day - start afresh and don't stress. Nothing you can do about yesterday - forget it and move on.

Instead of treating yourself every week when you have been good, treat yourself every 7lb you lose and let it be something that isn't food.... that is what I do. Maybe a new mascara, nail varnish, snazzy socks, earrings, just something you wouldn't normally buy for yourself. With a super duper present once you reach goal.

My super duper present wen I reach goal is my surgery :)

keep that surgery is mind then - don't let food control you - you control food !!! this is what I find most exhilirating now the fact that I am in control and no longer will food ever dictate to me !! xx

Hon .. your surgery is a great "goal" reward but you need to congratulate yourself along the journey for the hard work you are doing too xx

I've just started to change the way I think, from thinking to myself 'I've fallen off the wagon' I am now thinking 'I've stepped off the wagon' as then it makes me remember that I am in control and can make choices about what I choose to put in my mouth. Plus it also makes me stop and consider why I stepped off.

Keep going. I've been having a really tough time settling in to this SS malarky but I'm still chipping away at it and not giving up. xxx

We all had blips in a way or the other, just keep fighting the urges with something to distract you.

I go and play computer games lol :)

... and drink more water :S
