I'm on my 4th week of SS and I'm going for my weigh in tonight but I always check myself the morning I'm due to go ( I know I shouldn't but I just can't not do it!). I've only lost 2lb this week and I've stuck to my SS just the same as every other week but I have been feeling hungry for the last 3-4 days. I'm assumingthe hunger implys I'm not in ketosis but I don't understand why not.
Any ideas what's going on with my body people? :sigh:

Absolutely None! But your losses are very similar to mine!!!
    Mine are -
    Week one 7lbs (TOTM)
    Week two 3lbs
    Week three 3lbs
    Week four?????

I haven't cheated either, So one week I'd love to break the 3lb club and lose 4lb!!! Might we just be slow losers??!!!:)XX

Hiya am at week 5 am still on the ss didnt add a meal as my cdc said you can keep going up til 12 weeks now (dont think i will last that long) and when i went for my weigh on monday i lost 3lbs she said that the (3lbs on week 4)weight lost starts to slow down as the body is getting use to the diet so you weight could be more next week they average weight lost half a stone every to 2 weeks 1stone a month .

My weight is falling off VERY slowly too! I AM sticking to it 100%, and can't understand the measly 1lb losses that I'm getting. I am losing inches though, so all is not lost. Havne't been too good with the water this week though.

Well my CDC reckons weight loss slows down and therefore the AAM wk stimulates and kick starts metabolism and the weight loss is faster after it. She has insisted I include an AAM wk so this is it. Haven't been to her for 2 wks so it will be interesting to see if her theory holds out.

I wouldn't mind so much if I was losing the inches instead of the weight but I've not shifted a single inch since I started CD!
I'm also more bothered about the hunger thing (it's deafinately hunger and not cravings) because I know this pretty much signals that I'm not in ketosis and I've not done anything different to the previous weeks so I just don't get it?????

    Hi

I have had the hunger feelings too whilst i been doing SS and i havent cheated at all, i was lucky to be due an AAM week and after that week i felt 100% better and the hunger had gone so not sure what it means.
Dont forget 1,2 or 3 pound is still a fab loss and as hedgemag says its gone forever never to return so be proud of yourself.
