Hey Guys....

While I write this I have never felt so alone and disapointed with myself.
I really have no one I can turn to.

My friends don't understand it, Even though I have tried to show them I wanna lose weight I have no support at all.

My Current weight is 213.4 :( I was down to 204.0 only to mess up.....

I have lost all my motivation! I used to look forward to using my stepping machine and my wii fit now I just don't seem to be botherd with it.....

My mood lately seems to be pretty low just seem to be fed up most of the time and everything seems to be getting the better of me!

Could really do with some advice on what to do, some tips etc would be great.

Dont feel so down on yourself! I am in a very similar boat. I have been working very hard-- hardest of my life hor about 6 weeks now and have only managed to shed about 7-10 good pounds. I as well use wii fit alot but i find it to be very demotivating as my weight fluctuates sometimes a kg or more a day . I dont think its good to do the daily body tests... it puts too much pressure!
I have never been a healthy eater so implementing these changes has been hard and depressing too . Its quite a lonely mission with 2 young kids and a fiance who is about 20 lbs under weight :( The constant stream of junk foods in the house, sugary drinks, nighttime snacking.. makes me want to throw my hands up in the air and give up. I understand ur exhasperation to the fullest :( in 6 weeks almost no progress ... but im not ready to starve on some extremist diet or something... i want to be properly healthy and fit more then anything... maybe breathe in a pair of paints that have a button :S

Hope u get some inspiration/motivation back soon becuase it is a worthy cause to fight for!

My Mood doesn't help, one day I will be pumped and ready to lose weight and get healthy the next I can't even be fussed to set wii up.....
I was told this could be due to my sleeping pattern or lack of one, I get up for work at 6am and have been going to bed at 1-2am..... I also skip breakfast :(

Hi Lightning, I notice with all your postings that they run at pretty well the same theme so I really feel that you are not at all whole hearted in your attempts to lose weight.
Nobody can do it for you so time to get things going for real and take your finger out!
So first and foremost get a diary of your own up and running and stop hiding behind these various moans and groans, lets see what you are really eating and what your intentions are. You don't have to write it up every day but letting everyone know not just your food intake but how you are feeling that day - including the good bits which I am sure you must have from time to time. That will help people to be able to step in and give you support and encouragement.

Do try to cheer up as this is an exciting adventure which will lead to your not only feeling better about yourself but looking better and being healthier...

Do take care and looking forward to seeing that diary start up... I will come back to see how you are getting on.....:)

Being new to the site can you offer some advice Emmaline, do must users post thier food diaries and such on here? Im having a hard time figuring wher ei fit in the scheme of things here becuase I am not on WW or any other program, jsut old fashioned excercise and trying to eat more sensibly... (then theres days like today where i just want to eat)
so basically im asking if posting my food diary on here is recommended and if many find it beneficial :)

Lightening... i leave my balance board in the middl eof the living room floor so it stares me in the face when i try to ignore it :p

Hi HeatherEade, (or should I just call you Heather?)
There is a section called "Healthy Eating" or something like that. Have a look in the drop down menu. Just in case you don't know where that is - if you click on the "All Diets" in the blue tool bar at the top of this page you will get the drop down menu.
Once you start your own diary I will be able to find you much more easily than if you keep floating about posting here and there.

Look forward to getting to know you and watching your progress.....:)
