    Calorie counting
so ive been calorie counting since January this year, and had been doing really really well up until Mid April.
Before i was on 1300 calories a day and exercised approx 3 times a day. i lost 19lbs, which i was very pleased about.

    BUT........
i fell off the wagon. i started alowing myself tooo many treats, which then became, "ill start again tomorrow". which then became "ill start again on Monday".
This has now been happening for at least a month, and although i have not gained any of the weight back, i just feel fatigued and my tummy is all of a sudden very bloated again.

today i have vowed to get back on track, and i even bought a pilates dvd, and some rollerblades (love rollerblading). Fingers crossed for this to be offical start again!

thanks for listening to my rant. lol

Counting Calories - 1500 a day, OK I know this is going to take years but that's fine.
We've all been there. Sometimes I just figure that it mustn't be the right time to do things. You have to allow yourself some slack. Good to make a fresh start though. :)

Heyyy a fellow rollerblader! I just took it up too, it's good fun! I also just started doing a yoga/pilates cd too, callenetics (from the 80's!) - a really good workout.

Yeah I'd say cut yourself a bit of slack, you've done really well so far. Only 1 stone to go as well, so it's really just one last push and you'll get that last pesky stone off :D And of course you know this, but if you've had a treat just make sure you're under your calories and make sure you start NOW, not tomorrow or next week. There's always another tomorrow but today is the only one you get! So make your choice today and just make this last effort!

You are an inspiration! I only started calorie counting in April & am already feeling the temptation to waver. Keep strong! Think of all the weight you have lost & how good you have felt because of it.

P.S. I love rollerblading too. Would love to get back into it!

thank you so much for your kind words, and definately the kick up the backside that i needed.

its strange, but i am a regular to these forums, and i only ever really reply rather than start new threads. i normally think, well i know that ill pick myself up again and ill be fine and i dont need to bore you lot with my silly messages, BUT now that i hav actually posted my little rant and heard the replies, i feel strangely really really motivated.

    thank you very much. xxxxxxx

When we climb up the mountain we forget to look how far we've come...it's hard going up that mountain and sometimes we need a break...when you get to the top the view will be spectacular..

best of luck on your climb xx

I had a break last week too, I was sooo tired.

By making this post you're back on track already xx hugs xx
