I survived my first meal out

Hey everyone! I am feeling triumphant today, I was on the road all day and even had to eat out and I stayed on track :D I smothered my fries in mustard and everything I couldnt have got covered in salt because they forgot to take my fries off and then I couldn't eat them and I resisted dessert :) I had a mixed grill in the harvester with a little side salad, it was yummy

I have a headache and I am really thirsty and cold, could ketosis be on its way? I really hope so x

well done on eating out :D its hard isnt it BUT gets easier with time xx

To be honest, I didn't find it to be much of a stuggle, I am enjoying my food on atkins as opposed to lifeless lettuce leaves that I am used to! I wish I had started this earlier

Well done Racheal, especially on resisting the fries! I'm trying my first dinner out on Wednesday and hope I have your resolve - although as you say, eating on Atkins is so easy, I agree, I wish I'd done it years ago :)

Its a good feeling aint it?! I have managed three days out with the kids and two meals out on an evening this week!!! I managed to stay in ketosis (been testing) and I am so so pleased with myself. I get weighed on Tuesday and after such a big week I wil be very happy to stay the same, but I am just growing in confidence at being able to socialise and make choices that fit with atkins (something that was totally impossible on the cambridge plan).

So pleased its going well for you rachael ...... we just need to keep it up now and keep remembering how much better we feel!
