As soon as you mentally turn away from being committed to something then it’s hard to enjoy it. Trying another tactic for a week or two might give you the motivation to carry on. (And yes, the lockdown is getting sooo tedious now!)The TLDR is - I had a moan and decided to put some effort in - signing up to SW online.
Feeling really battered today and without reason really. I tasted the cake as I was making it and I had a piece too! I'm still really frustrated with the lack of movement on the scales (goes without saying that I am still weighing everyday). I'm thinking about how I won't be able to maintain the diet when I go back to work, so I might as well give up now. Everyone else is losing 3 - 4lbs a week so I might as well give up. I didn't manage to find eggs this week, so I might as well give up. I only have ham to last until Saturday so I won't have any Sun-Tues, so guess what?! I might as well give up! I lay in bed this morning thinking about how glorious it would be to give up and eat whatever takes my fancy. I think this lockdown is having more of an impact upon me than I had initially thought. I think I'm even more obsessed with food than I was before.
I am craving a McMuffin HARD and diet or no diet, when we get let loose again, I will be having a McBreakfast.
I got to thinking about SW and CC. Both have worked for me in the past and I went for SW this time because I know I need the volume at the moment. I just think I'm doing it wrong. I need a really good loss to motivate me.
I had breakfast while writing this and I do feel better now that I'm not hungry... I know what I'll do, I will have an 11am and 3pm snack of 1 peice of fruit. I will stick to SW. I think I have become unbalanced because of the cake but I know what my motivation is and I know that I am moving in the right direction.
Motivation -
Get back to where I was before
Achieve something I've never attained before
Look good AND feel good
Get the job that I want, become the person that I am on the inside
I did some looking through old pictures, found a picture of me at about 20 stone and another which I know I was 14st 6.4lb. I am at 15st 7 currently and I'm going to give it 100% for one week (from today). If at the end of that week (Friday 15th weigh in) SW doesn't give me the result that I want, I will change to CC I think. I certainly can't do both and I think it is negative for me to try. I might even actually sign up because I'm worth the financial investment!!!
