ooo I love the dry vs cooked debate had it many atimes!!!

my old leader told me to do everything from dried and pasta and rice and all that I do, I would feel like I am cheating if I did it cooked coz I would jus eat more when I maybe really dint need it!!

its the jacket pot debate I dnt get ppl weigh it before cooking it and some weigh it after?? I weigh it before lol!!

I weigh everything before cooking it just makes sense to me xx
 
I think I'm going to stick to weighing everything raw/before cooking. If I start weighing cooked to 'save' points then I might start to cheat in other ways :p
 
I weigh b4 I cook but if I'm cooking for a few people then I weigh my portion cooked. Saves having to cook in a different pot.

See I hadn't even thought of that lol I'm so Anal about weighing everything first I always use different saucepans for mine! Xx
 
I always weigh 60g dried pasta (dont know what it is cooked) because that's what I read on weight watchers as a good portion :)

I started off having 60g but 40g fills me nicely so stuck with that. Saved me 2pp (I think??) too ;)

I will do a proper update for yesterday in a second but just to say I made some more Chips in the Actifry last night, I weighed the Potato raw and it was 301g AKA 6pp but once it was cooked it was 135g AKA 3pp....

I still counted it as 6pp as there's no way that amount of Potato/Chips would realistically be 3pp! X

Good Morning Sweeties :)

I'm sorry I didn't update last night but felt shattered!

The Big Bad News of Saturday is that I lost my WW Pedometer :-( Am Gutted.com :-( It must of fallen out of my Pocket when I was tying Poppy's Shoes whilst we were out, so annoyed at myself :-( I retraced by Steps, asked at Lost Property etc but no trace of it :-( I can't afford to replace it just yet as I obviously bought my Actifry this week so ill just have to do without it :-(

Anyways enough of that, onto the day...

I had my usual Brekkie of Melba Toast, Cheese Triangle & Jalapeño (2pp) and decided to add a Mint Madness Options (1pp) for some extra sustenance.

I then ran errands in Town and took Poppy to a Party at an Indoor Play Area. There wasn't going to be grub for the Grown Ups so I took Celery, Cucumber, Yellow Pepper, Egg White & Coke Zero (All 0pp) to keep me going.

We then went back to my Besties House, it was her little boys birthday and they had done an Adults Buffet....my usual Willpower wasn't there as there was NOTHING 0pp! So I stole the boxes and quickly worked out the pp on my phone of the things I wanted to eat, I decided on the following...

Savoury...

3 Mini Cheese n Tomato Pizzas 6pp
2 Mini Vegetable Spring Rolls 2pp
1 Mini Cheese n Onion Quiche 2pp

Sweet...

3 Mini Cream Sponge Rolls 2pp
2 Mini Custard Slices 2pp
1 Mini Chocolate Coated Profiterole 2pp

Total 'Cost' 16pp!

My Bestie makes the most amazing Birthday Cakes so I had a slice of that, obviously there is no packaging to work it out but it was a decent size which I picked the icing off so I counted it as 10pp, hope that's enough?!?

We then went to see my Mum, Dad and Nieces (Nothing to eat there thank goodness) and then home.

Poppy went to bed and I made the previously mentioned Actifry Chips (6pp) and had my Peanut Butter M&Ms (7pp) as I just fancied those!

Total PP Spend for the Day...42pp! So that's 26 Dailies plus 16 Weeklies!

I know I'm meant to be doing 29pp a day now I'm maintaining but I've decided to do 26pp plus every single weekly and see how I get on! 33 Weeklies to go!
