If You Fail To Prepare, You Prepare to Fail

Your dinner sounds yummy and great that your able to split over 2 meals.

The house is going look stunning once the carpets are all down. Enjoy today the last few weeks have gone quick leading up to the move.

Enjoy your day x

I think with the whole work thing it kind of made 2 weeks just vanish! 10 sleeps and we will be in, can't quite believe it. Will be back shortly with some pics x

Some more pics from the new house

I'm soooooooo happy with all we got done today, it's a shame we didn't get my curtains hung up but that shouldn't take too long as we've done the rail today.

Tomorrow the packing/chucking continues!

10 Sleeps to Go!!!! X

The house looks so beautiful, I like all the colours that you've picked- it all goes so well together.
Emily's got the same light shade in her room it's lasted so well.

It's so nice to think your be all settled in your new home and what a lovely fresh start for you and Poppy. Hope she enjoyed her day too.

I'll be glad once my replacement curtains turn up so that job can fully be ticked off! I think silver curtains will look nice with the dark grey walls? Those lampshades were such a bargain, we also have black ones for by our front and back doors. I feel so excited about the move, there's still a lot to pack but it feels so real now. Dad should be able to fit the purple kitchen unit doors this week, they were very specialist so had to be done on a special order. The kitchen is definitely my favourite room of the new house! X

The house is looking lovely and I'm so excited for you to move into your forever home.
I love all of the colours you've chosen and can't wait to see photos of the finished kitchen. X

We've got silver curtains in our living room, the walls are a cream colour I'm sure yours will look great. Aww it must feel so real now everything is nearly finished!!

I feel ill girls :( Been going at it since 8am this morning and just not getting anywhere or it feels like that anyway! Sooooooo tired right now :( x

Oh no you need to rest, it's so stressful moving-hope your ok xx

Just had a massive panic attack and cried my eyes out, luckily Dad was here so he calmed me down. X

Oh, no. Stop and take a break. Remember, you're still recovering from your accident.
It's all so overwhelming but you will get there and in a few weeks all of this will be a distant memory. I'm glad you're dad was there to calm you down. X

Luckily you had your dad- is it just the stress of moving x

I think it's all just got on top of me, I'm such a perfectionist and at the moment I don't feel like I'm achieving the perfection which I want! I'm not sleeping as I can't switch off so I'm exhausted too. Just feel like a failure at the moment and just want the move to be here so we can be in and that's it. Today I've packed all my clothes, shoes and bags so I did make progress, just not as much progress as I would of liked! I've got 6 Black Sacks for Cash 4 Clothes, been quite ruthless as I have way too many clothes which I never wear now I work full time! X

You've made great progress, its such a hard job packing everything up and getting rid of things you don't need. I'm so gutted about not getting our house, it wasn't so much the house itself but feel like you just need that fresh start- now I feel frustrated with all the junk we started clearing outs can understand how exhausting it is for you.
Well done on sorting the clothes- how much do you get for can for your clothes, I've done it before and it wasn't worth the hassle but got loads left from the boot-sale xx

I hate the fact there's just stuff EVERYWHERE! U empty one cupboard and it seems to spread all over the house, so annoying!

Cash for Clothes pay 60p/kg at the place where they check everything and refuse quite a lot and 40p/kg at the place where they just take it as long as it's clean, dry and bagged up! Poppy's clothes got £26.40 and mine £12.20, ok so the clothes inside are worth a heck of a lot more but I don't have the time to sit and sort for selling, I just kept the brand new stuff which I've sold on eBay.

Evening Everyone!

Today I would describe my day as hectic but productive!

So I went to work this morning but left at 12 as I had a Gynae Appt at the Hospital, my Op which I had a few months back was successful and after 9 years of hell I've finally been discharged!

After the Hospital I took my clothes to Cash 4 Clothes, posted 18 eBay parcels (yes 18!!!), took a few choice bits into CEX and changed up a Change Pot at Coinstar! All little jobs which take time so it's great that I got it all done.

Tonight I plan on having a hot bath and hopefully falling into a deep deep sleep as I couldn't sleep last night, brain would just not switch off.

Hope you're all good and had a good day. X

Forgot to say, Dad made these today to match my Wardrobe:

They are going to sit in the 2 alcoves in my bedroom, Poppy doesn't have them as she has her freestanding drawer units from when I did her room last year. X

That's like our house junk everywhere I can't stand the mess. Hopefully yours be done soon.

I've done cash for clothes but each time I got ridiculous money for them.

I love the draws your dad is very celver xx

He sure is :) I would like to book a trip away for my parents once the move is completed, I'm thinking either a Theatre Break or Spa Break, probably the latter as they have never been to a Spa and I know they will both enjoy it.

I think for Cash for Clothes to work you do need quite a few bags and jeans/coats/knitwear are great as they weigh loads! In future if I just have a small bag full of clothes id just give to the Charity Shop as it wouldn't be worth the hassle. X

That sounds so lovely for your parents, I'm sure their be very pleased. That's great news about your hospital yesterday- sorry I missed that.

I must got ripped off when I've done cash for clothes as I got about fiver for 8 sacks! We signed up to donate stuff to local charity shop and they come to collect- can't wait.

I love a Charity Shop Collection, they took about 20 sacks from me last week and there's no way I would of got all that to them! I gift aided too so I think they get an extra 25% on everything they sell?!,
