I dissapeared from the forum a while ago, i just felt like a failure. I kept eating and complaining or eating and saying tomorrow I wont eat!

So i quit. I'm not usually a quitter, but I was this time.

I still tried to eat less etc but I've noticed over the last couple of weeks I'm eating more (and more rubbish) and I'm putting on the weight I lost! :cry:

I just feel like poo.

Every day I think tomorrow I can have 3 shakes and be done with it, but then i wake up and want food.

It's like i physically can't stop myself eating sometimes.

But when I first started this diet I was 100% for a while, no problems! Why can't I get back there :cry:

So here I am back again.

Original weight - 17st 11lbs
Weight now - 15st 2lbs
Goal weight - 11st 11lbs

Its so good to see you back - I have missed you lots. And it must be student midwife time soon - you will be so glad you have restarted on that first day when you walk in slim and confident and determined to make a success of your career. You can do this! Go for it.
Its tough but you know it works - get through the first few tough days and you are winning. You will want to eat but you will also remember it will pass, you can do it again. You did so well and tomorrow you will feel better - not like 'poo' anyway.

Good luck, why not join the 100 day challenge? Its a great distraction.

I hear you can mirror what you are saying, it happened to me several times.

Just shake yourself off, come back forget about the past and start today as it's your first. Go low carb, and take things meal by meal. I think sometimes if you think you are going to screw up you will. I try not to think about my next meal anymore and just keep going as if I am going to be good later.

Last night I was hungry, I found myself pacing up and down every now and then but succeeded by drinking coke zero and told myself that's all i needed - a little fix. I woke up hungry too btw. It's rubbish but I had a bar and I have done ok. I'm not meaning to complain about me but more sharing that you are not alone and I understand how difficult it is to make the proper choices.

we've all been there - struggling, knowing how "easy" it is when you're head's in the right place, but how difficult VLCD is when it's not. I have no magic answer, but I find having something to aim for is a great motivator - when I did LL it was a wedding, now 3 st heavier than when I stopped LL (but still more than 3 st lighter than when I started LL) it's a school reunion! After that it will be Christmas.

Keep busy, and keep on Minimins, as they are both great distractions ;)
