Im coming back....

    well after trying slimming world I have decided to come back. I really enjoyed slimming world I just didnt lose any weight really, I didnt gain any either so am much the same as the day I left here. Thing is I know I have a problem with carbs and cant really lose weight while eating pasta, rice and potatoes by the dozen. So here goes - back on the stormy little road to ketosis and then hopefully plain sailing from there. I am going to do this!!!

    Loved SW but it didn't love me - I could eat free food in mountains, although I did usually have green days and didn't do many red so maybe that was the problem. I went later on and was a bit confused by the different varieties of plans - it seemed that they were trying to make it too user friendly and in the process lost the diet element. I know it suits some people but I preferred faster losses to keepm e motivated

    Welcome back! Have done SW in the past and successfully lost a stone, kept it off until a 6 month job in Canada last year where i had 3 meals a day provided - desert twice a day and cookies and cake to snack on in between meals - needless to say my stone went back on even though my job was an active one!

    Returned to following SW in January but the carbs were getting to me. I knew nothing about Atkins, had heard of it of course but only the negatives so i'd never investigated it further. So glad i did. I know exactly what you mean about the carbs - i feel SO much better not eating all that pasta, potatoes, rice and cous cous.

    Hi - welcome back. I treid slimming world for a couple of months - lost about 2 lbs! (too much pasta available). Did have success on WW a couple of years ago - lost 3 stone - but have put all that back on lol. Hence the fabulous Atkins diet now. definately my favourite! AND...this is not going to be a fad - this is going to be my life from now on :)

    Aww thanks so much for the warm welcome - it does feel like im coming home, having a few cravings today but not too bad - Im too determined!! Im going to start a diary right now
