Hey Judy, good to see you. This is a fabulous site, i wouldnt have been able to come so far without it, Ive lost 5stone since January. You had an excellent 1st weeks loss and i know you are going to do great. Welcome.

Welcome aboard Judy. What a fantastic first weigh-in! A huge well done to you.

The photos are a fantastic inspiration aren't they. I've been feeling a bit down in the dumps latly because I've stalled on the diet (although I'm a long way from where I started - thats something I suppose). There's a link to my 'progress' photos below ... I just long for the day I have an 'after' shot and not just 'during'!

How much are you hoping to lose?

It's all a matter of taste Judy. The only thing to do is to try them all and see which ones you like.

There's plenty of advice available to make CDing more tolerable: especially if you have a fair bit to lose and need to keep at it for a while.

Things such as how to avoid constipation (this can be a problem on a VLCD), extra yummies such as 'freebie' jelly to give you the feeling of having a pudding and all sorts of recipes to stave off the boredom.

I'm not sole sourcing anymore but am happy to help in any way I can.

11lbs without even starting Cambridge? thats even better!! There are a few of us with similar amounts to lose so you wont be on your own. As for tips, drink water, water and moe water and dont cheat, not even a little bit. Im speaking from experience here, it sjust so blooming hard to get back on track once youve blipped its just not worth it. Best to just get your head down and plough on through, post on here as much as you can and dont be afraid to ask any questions, there is always someone who knows the answers. I love all the soups but oriental chilli is rather special.
Good luck, we look forward to seeing your success.

thanx again!! how do i do one of them weight trackers??
i just tried on ticker.com but it said it only went upto 110 weightloss or somethin like that,
i thought oh thats nice telling me im too fat for a ticker lol
im just gonna stick with putting my weight loss down on a monday as its easier or it gets too confusing, so on monday coming it will be 3 wks since i started dieting, instead of saying i lost so much on slimming world and so much on cd

To get your ticker to show every time at the bottom of your post, you need to go to the blue bar at the top and click on 'user CP' then on the left hand side, choose 'edit signature'.

You'll see a box in which to put whatever you want ... a tracker, little message etc.

I think you need to copy and paste the BB code (or something like that) from your ticker site for it to show.

Hope this helps
Hey Judy - WELCOME :D

look forward to getting to know you :)

Are you inputting your details into the tracker in pounds Judy? Most of the tracker sites are American and don't do stones.
Thanks for the kind comments re the photos ... I still have quite a way to go though.
