info needed regarding tesco wholemeal crusty bread mix please

hi ive bought the wholemeal crusty bread mix but how much can i use as a hex and where is this listed as ok as i cant find any info thanks xx

Off the top of my head 75g of bread mix gave a pizza base of 113g or 2 x HEBs.

You are right it doesn't appear in the official SW literature but Vixxster sent SW HQ the nutritional info and they confirmed it could be used.

fantastic thanks for replying ... im going to try and convert it to a doughnut mixture to be baked... this could be terrible or brilliant !! lol im getting doughnut withdraw symptoms

Oh I suspect that won't work out well. Bread flour is an entirely different beast to the ordinary flour that you would use to make cakes and stuff. It has a lot more gluten in it which gives the bread it's texture. Cakes and doughnuts would come out really tough and chewy.

they turned out like rolls lol i think i will wait till i reach a milestone and treat myself to a fresh doughnut from the bakers !! lol
