Ingredient alternative?

Hi all,
I have a recipe that calls for 120ml of white wine. Its a strogonoff (spelling?)
I dont drink so dont have any and dont want to buy any, plus the syns.
Could I use stock instead?

Yes I've used stock instead and tastes just as good.

What I sometimes do though is buy the little bottles of wine, then if you are tempted its not a huge amount of syns !

Don't really drink and i can stand the taste of any wine so never bother
