Initial weight gain.

Hi everyone,

I am happy to find this forum now that I have moved over to the 1000 plan.
I have to say I am loving the museli above all else and could eat it every meal, which is surprising considering I didn't care for it much before the diet.
I have tried to stick to the portion sizes and I have done with the exception of the museli, and I seem to have gained about 3lbs since moving up and my belly has expanded slightly. I am hoping this is the infamous glycogen making a reappearance and not fat!! If it is, can I expect my weight to revert downwards after this first week?

My understanding is that your glycogen needs to restore to its full amount but as you are still below your actual daily calorie requirements, the two balance each other out. Just be careful of the muesli - even the no sugar added stuff contains dried fruit and they can be quite sugary.

I went up to 1200 and I noticed around 2lbs, but having been on it for 1 week it's just come off today, along with another 2lbs.
So it should come off fairly quickly :)
Thanks ladies, I seem to have stabilised about 2.5lbs above the weight I was before I moved up the plan. Still well within normal weight range but I still hope it comes off next week like yours did Watergirl.
I have a sweet tooth and I do admit the dried raisins fill a hole.
