Insane Ramblings on Route to being Fit & Fabulous Forever

Ooh, I love the dress! :) It's so tricky ordering clothes for events in the future now, isn't it? I had the same issue when I was my sister-in-law's bridesmaid in October (it fit in the end, thanks to a tie in the back, but the shoes were suddenly too big for my feet and kept slipping off!).

Hope you've had a lovely weekend!

Love the dress too hun xxx

Thanks everyone - have picked up both dresses but will try them on later. I thought I could return upto 28 days but apparently its only 14  I do love the dress but not sure its exactly what I want for wedding. Might keep one for my holiday to Florida in October but the decision would still be which one?!

Haha, I was going to say the same about Southampton and Portsmouth! Accidentally went near Southampton's ground once on match day, and encountered Portsmouth fans being escorted to the ground by the police!!

Unfortunately I live right next to the ground. Once I got timing wrong and was sat in my car as the opposition fans were marched in around us by the police  Never made that mistake again!

I do find it strange that show size goes down - I was a 6.5 - 7 and now a 5.5-6 and reckon may need 5 in boots like Uggs which is a shame as have a lovely size 7 pair. Reckon can still wear them with two pairs of socks!

Omg you are absolutely AMAZING! 12 stone is a huge amount to lose! Well done, WELL FRICKIN DONE!

Afternoon :D

Had a great day so far although feel exhausted and like all I can do is sit on sofa! Luckily other than batch cooking some soup and possibly some chilli I can allow that to be my schedule :8855:

I had been a bit lazy this week. Only run once and although had done other exercise felt I needed to go. Felt very unmotivated but dragged myself out of bed. Decided would try and do a long one - so 5.01 miles completed :sign0151: Came home and did two different abs work outs which were killer too :) Am really pleased that my speed was similar to shorter runs as I'd felt a bit slow. Plus my lovely Apple watch tells me my average heart rate was 156 - got to burn some fat surely?!

I then went to Morrisons for a mini weekly shop. Got all out of sync with my shopping. Hoping the mini one will last to my day off mid week when I'll try and get back on track with a plan and full weeks worth! Think some of the issues was period arriving mid week last week meant I was ravenous and munch my way thru lots of fruit and veg to avoid chocolate!

I then walked into the city to collect my pre-ordered dress. I also went to Primarni to get a cream cardi / shrug thing to go with my outfit for Wednesday. I decided to try on some jeans in M&S as they had a special on denim. Hilariously the short are too long but the extra short look like they've argued with my ankles. I need a middling shortarse range :p

The city was very busy I think because people had avoided it yesterday in footie chaos. I have to climb a big hill to get there and boy did my legs feel that today. I only did a little wander cause I've promised myself not to buy lots more clothes before I have a proper sort out of what I've got & what I need!

I did manage to get to Hotel Chocolat - the tester today was the brownie chocs. Well a tiny portion of one. It was amazing but I didn't buy those today I bought some more salted caramel ones but this time the dark version and two new ones that I haven't yet tried. Tried to upload some pictures and they wont :( But I got hazelnut pralines & chocolate fudge sundaes. Work out at 19 & 23 syns respectively for whole pack of six chocolates which isn't too bad as long as I can eat just half  I know its ridiculously expensive but its sooo good and I'm having so little chocolate I feel I deserve good stuff when I get it ;)

lovely dress - looks like it is v flattering with that side gathering. gorgeous blue colour as well. Looks just the thing for a wedding. Like everyone else, I'm sure you will be in the smaller size by then.

i love a chocolate treat. I'm currently in the habit of buying the miniature green and black bars. They are tiny, but I love the variety in the pack and I chop them up into the 10 segments and savour each one individually!! alternatively I chop a slimfast caramel car up into 10 pieces - they are SO delicious. Also a fave is the met lags sweet and salty popcorn too

I think you are entitled to the odd lazy week :)

Ooo, Hotel Chocolat!! If I didn't have to take out a loan to park in Southampton I would be treating myself :D I think there is nothing wrong with spending money on chocolate, you don't it all the time, and it makes it more special.

Love the sayings your hairdressers put on their board :) It's a good idea to brighten up people's day :)

Gutted spent about 2 hours today investigating TRX training (suspension ropes with handles) that they have in what I term the soft play area at my gym. When I had my induction she taught me a couple of moves but I love it so have added a few more. Had found great workout on Youtube that I was going to attempt in the morning. Then just spotted on Facebook that they've had to close overnight - its a 24 hour but is unmanned overnight but has CCTV. I presume theres an issue with that as its open from 6am tomorrow but thats too late for me as I'm at work by 6.30.

Ho hum will have to rejig my exercise plan. Perhaps a run in the morning with some kettlebells & gym on Tuesday instead?

Speaking of exercise I've been debating starting to train for a half marathon that happens here in November. That way if by chance I do get in the London marathon next year which I would find out in October I'll at least be on track?! However I'm worried that my current exercise program seems to be working well with my weight loss and bit afraid to mix things up. Plus hate the idea of running where people I know might see me. Perhaps need to look for out of area half marathon at similar time?!
Guess I could spend a couple of hours now investigating half marathons & training programs?! They can't shut the roads :8855:

Forgot to say the Hairdressers that I run past had another good motto today "the key to success is moving on from failure with no loss of enthusiasm"

I must pop in one day when they're open and tell them how much their little mottos cheer me up mid run ;)
That is fabulous. :) I think I need to print that out and put it above my scales!

Why don't you want people to see you running? I think good people will be amazed by your transformation and cheer you up, while the bad ones will be envy hahaha :D

Gyms here don't have an induction, so I do whatever I want in terms of weight lifting. I'll get a proper plan once I go home, then will be able to keep it here. But I'm still to find something that I really love in the gym other than the results.

Going for the London marathon.. Wow GO YOU

lobely yo see you're getting into going to the gym and enjoying it.

work by 6:30am ? OUCH xx

Hope you've had a good day :) Running a marathon would be amazing! I would definitely come and cheer you on! Half marathon sounds achievable and a good place to start though :) However, I am not expert ;)

I think its great - they've had some fab mottos. Makes my run interesting to see what they've got up!

But I'm still to find something that I really love in the gym other than the results.

I love interval training & the TRX stuff - the rest can get bit dull but is helping the inches go!

Going for the London marathon.. Wow GO YOU

And had mad moment today when got an email about the 6 major marathons around the world & had a crazy thought of wouldn;t it be brilliant to run al of those before I die?! Trip to Tokyo anyone? :8855:

Hello Shelley :p, how are you hun ? I've missed ya !

Kay xx

Hurrah lovely Kay - missed you lots and off to find out your news?!

Hope you've had a good day :) Running a marathon would be amazing! I would definitely come and cheer you on! Half marathon sounds achievable and a good place to start though :) However, I am not expert ;)

Me neither but seems sensible although as the fat girl who always had her period on cross coutry running day at school the odea of running 13.1 miles let alone 26 is insane  :D

I'm a morning person luckily. Exercise kit is one of the many things I love shopping for at the moment ;)

Evening another long day but at least home in the daylight!

Have random swap of day off so off to fat club day early. As I'm meeting friends for lunch also going to go to a morning class instead of after big meal out! Really looking forward to a girlie catch up :p

Need to try and get a supermarket shop done at some point in the day too - although think after wine with lunch that might not be such a great idea :8855:

Recently I've been doing something odd on my shopping trips that I've termed supermarket self harming - I wander into all the naughty aisles and look at lovely stuff for ages. Stuff I can't & wont buy. Like some weird form of self torture. Hope to write out my list and only visit relavent bits!!

Hope everyone is well and am going to enjoy catching up on news :)
