In our house for the last few years, we have given up something for lent. For the last two years for me its been crisps, and sweets for my daughter. Yesterday she asked me what I was giving up for lent this year and i couldn't think of anything, esp as I aren't eating sweets, crisps or chocolate. So i thought I would give up the SF sweets instead. I have always maintained that chewing gum isn't a sweet, its not something that is swallowed. Its a mainstay for me during the day as I do need a fix every now and then of something sweet. What do you think?
