Is it def 500 cals on dd?

I went on to diet site and it says I should only have 383 cals on dd and under 2000 on ud. What is correct? I've been having 500 on dd and not counting on uds. How do you all know about diet and how it actually works as the book is unavailable to buy just now.

Yes it is def 500 it says it on the website. :)The calculator is misleading as it shows you all percentages. I take it you are looking at the 20%. The book is avaliable at amazon. I ordered mine today.:D

Let us know what book is like. I've got absolutely no dosh left in my account so will need to wait til next week! I'm such an idiot with money. But in the words of the lovely Paolo, "I've got a license for my telly and food in my belly and nothing's gonna bring me down!"

It's up to 500 cals on a DD for the first two weeks. If you find you are stalling, then it would be worth dropping down to the 20% figure on the calculator (383 cals in your case) but if you are losing weight on 500 then that's fine. The UD calories are only on the calculator to work out your DD calories; you don't have to count on an up day, you just eat until you are satisfied but not stuffed.
