Is Porridge or Oatmeal made with water a free food on Green day?

    I am just musing if oat is a free food?
    So is Bran flakes for Green day?

    Is there any reason why not? Since I think oat is only a carb, like pasta and potatoes etc.

    You can make oatmeal/porridge up using either water or using milk but the milk will count as a hexa.

    So to clarify:-
    Oatmeal/Porridge made with water - just use hexb
    Oatmeal/Porridge made with milk - using hexb AND hexa.

    Just ask again if this doesn't make sense;)

    you can make a porridge from quinoa, that is free on ee and green days. Loads of recipes if you google it

    i think its to do with the high fibre content xx
