is this normal?

I think 2 - 3 lb a week is normal - and you are on target for that. I thinks week one spoils us and we want to keep going at that rate - though it's not realistic. Keep up the good work.

week 3 is always known as a bad week for losses for some people...it's like your body tries to hang on to everything then suddenly gives in and you get a super loss the following week. I know it's hard but look at it a month at a time, if you hit the stone loss every month, you're bang on target:D

Don't expect huge losses every week. The diet's good but not miraculous! There is no way you'd keep losing huge amounts. It's all going in the right direction, and some weeks you'll have a brilliantly shocking loss, and others will be disappointing. Just suck it up and carry on and you'll be at target before you know it. Do not get hung up on the weekly weight, and instead focus on the monthly loss.

My scales show part of a pound in weight, so even though I may have only lost .2 in a pound it still reassures me I am heading in the right direction :)
