woke up really early and very hungry so had HEXb 28gms porridge. Had wholemeal bread as second HEXb and now fancy SW chips. so i have sinned the porridge 5 syns and am having the SW chips instead as my second HEX b. My confusion is this. If i syned the potatoes it would be a higher syn than the porridge. Can this be right??

You can only have 227g of baking potato and you'll need to leave the skin on. I've never worked it out before but you're right, the syns for that are much higher than the porridge.

Wouldn't that be because it's supposed to be 28g porridge plus a Scan Bran?

That's where the additional Syn disappeared off to, I think.

And the potato is 1.5 Syns per 57g raw weight (flesh and skin) - so 227g potato is 6 Syns.
