Is this too much?

    Hi there i'm doing sw and getting close to target just thought i'd see how many kcals i should be consuming IF;) i was calorie counting so i used the links in the subforum and it says to maintain i should have 1990 and to lose i should consume 1490 cals im 5'4 and weight 9st 12lbs does this seem right or too many

    Depends on how much you want to lose and how active you are. x

    Hi sorry been out didnt see reply.
    im a cleaner and do a three floored houses/6 bedroomed for 4 hrs a day and i walk there and back 30 mins either way so im fairly active but dont do any other exercise i want to loose min of 1lb a week. thank you for your help.:)

    That amount should give you a loss of 1lb, so sounds about right to me. Make sure you don't go too low on cals, you need energy to maintain your active lifestyle. x

    I'm also 5ft 4 I weigh 9st 11 so almost identical. I'm on 1210 calories a day which was matched to be on my fitness pal app to loose around 1lb a week. I started yesterday and did fine still managing some crisps and a kitkat! I'm not doing this long term as I have lost 13.5lb on slimming world but I need something more restrictive at the moment as was cheating! Good luck xx
