Its all going terribly wrong!

    hi guys

    ive not posted for a while but could do with some support i reckon.

    so im coming up to 14 wks on ss+ and it all just is becoming too much im so pleased with the weight ive lost and to look at its such a change im well chuffed... but its a long time n i just feel enoughs enough. thats how im feeling but im refusing to allow myself to give up or change plans etc whats wrong with me reckon if i stop mucking around i could be at goal in 10 wks thats really not that long!!!

    ive cheated this week and hating myself for it ive kinda stuck to plan mostly but had a few milky coffees and TWO bars of choc on diff days. n my oh has just gone out to wrk tonight he dnt usually do nights n i ate two pieces of bread n a fish finger!!! this is ridiculous. in my obvious guilt jumped on scales ive put on a lb. its W.I tomorrow ( a day early) i go every fortnight n this two weeks i would have lost 4 lb! i know its my own fault but i averaged that loss on slimming world eating loads!!!

    i dont even know what im expecting anyone to say i just wnt to re introduce myself to the forum n make a fresh start i guess. I have been absolutely exhausted the past few weeks i dnt think thats helping...... im counting down to new yrs eve when ive granted myself a 100% day off so i can go out that night after a day of carbs :) so im not even looking forward to xmas dinner!! ahh man this can be done it can surely ive come this far :-(

    week 1 = 8lb
    week 2& 3 = 8lb
    week 4 = 2lb
    week 5& 6 = 9lb
    week 7 = 4lb
    week 8& 9 = 8lb
    week 10& 11 = 4lb
    week 12& 13 = 5lb

    starting weight 244lb
    target weight 161lb
    losses to date 48lb
    still to loose 35lb

    Shell pleaseeee stop being hard on yourself keep going from today and look forward to have a day off at new years eve.

    I looked at your weight loss and said " wish i could stick to it as well as you have"!!!! stop nibbling now and refocus again.

    What is your goal weight??

    Yes it can be done and your doing it ( with a few bumps lately)

    Your starting weight is virtually the same as mine was in may this year and I'm still doing but with the help of two seperate off plan weeks (hols) which I truley belive, for me, has helped me stay on the wagon for 7 months. Without the breaks I would have thrown the towel in.

    14 weeks is brilliant and bread and fishfingers don't mean the end ;) just get straight back on it! Forget it ever happend x

    The difference, I believe is planned breaks and unplanned breaks. With planned ones, YOU feel in control - you are expecting a gain (before it comes off again) and yes for some of us it has helped stick to our long term goals.

    Unplanned breaks are much more pyschologically damaging - you feel guilty, you feel like you've let yourself down, you feel out of control. But remember the 'damage' weight wise is exactly the same as a planned break. After 2 days you'll lose your bloaty feeling and you'll be back to normal SSing. A fish finger butty is nothing in the grand scheme of things!

    Dust yourself off, stop giving yourself a hard time and plough on until your next planned break. We've all been there, believe me! My weight stats were similar to yours and I'm more or less at goal after 20 weeks. You ARE going to do this! : )

    Great advice and so true thinfor30. I have been on cd for 31 weeks and I am due a planned break over Xmas which I am looking forward to and don't plan on feeling guilty about it either. Shell09 the few slip ups have caused a 1lb gain and thats nothing in the grand scheme of things especially in comparrison to how much weight you have lost. So jump back on hun, start the positive thinking cog a turning and just think head down until your planned break off on new years eve. You are doing great, you just need to stop beating yourself up and look at how far you have come and how much further you are going to go. Good luck and enjoy Christmas xx.

    thanks for all your replies they really do help, well im on my day 2 of being back to 100 % including extra water etc..... so im reckoning i should now start to feel a little sluggish getting back into ketosis ready for an awfull day tomorrow lol but today i have felt brill!!! loads of energy despite the miserable weather n cabbing every one around.. endured a b.day party with lots of yummy food n cake etc with no blips and as ypou all prob know im dying for fish n chips which im havong on my PLANNED break new yrs eve :) but was round my mums earlier n they were all eating....... fish n chips!!!! but i refused to give in n downed three glasses of H20 instead tee hee! think i may have had too many coffees today though as im not a tiny bit tired n its 1.30 am! any way think il get some ketostix tomorrow n check my whole ketosis progress out.

    thanks again all, and btw my weigh in for the past two weeks blips n all was a 4lb loss so all not lost!
