I don't know - but congratulations on your soon to be little one!

I am sure someone will be along tonight or in the morning to answer that. I have a hunch the answer will be no though - as breast feeding depleats you anyway doesn't it? So I would assume it might take too much out of you?

Good luck to you!! And lots of happy days ahead for you. You are a lucky lady. :)

Awww like BL I haven't a clue on the dieting while breast feeding but just want to congratulate you on your soon to be birth - ooooh how exciting ---- definitely appreciate pics of the baby when he/she is born .... love your ticker :)

I don't think you're aloud to do a vlcd while breastfeeding, and I think it's eight weeks after birth for weight watchers even. Good luck with your baby!! and diet lol xx

It was 12 weeks for Rosemary Conley, and not at all if breast feeding.

As breast feeding takes about 500 cals a day out of you if you are fully on board with it (and its not that easy, trust me), a VLCD would not be in either yours or your baby's best interests at all.

It is unlikely your GP would sign you off for LL if you were breast feeding or had recently given birth.

I had my daughter 14 months ago, LL wouldn't let me join for 3 months after the birth as everything is getting back to normal. You'll prabaly lose weight just with breast feeding though, one of my closest friends breast fed and she was back in her sz 12 jeans about 2 months aftr the birth of her baby.
Congratulations on your soon to be little one!!!!!!
