It's Saturday Night...

I remember when I was in Foundation and Development and Saturday night meant...staying in and checking out minis!

If any of you are visiting the forum and wondering, is this (abstinence) worth it? Really? Then, rest assured, it is!

I am struggling through Route to Managment right now - for a number of reasons - but I haven't lost faith with LighterLife; for me, it's the business. And so is minimins, for that matter!

Anyway, I just want to encourage you all - anyone who's doing the programme - just keep with it.

And if you're having a bad day, write it off and start again tomorrow.

Have a lovely weekend everyone. :chores016:

Thanks so much Mrs L! Love reading your posts as always....I am actually glad to be in with the heating on, several layers, electric blanket, scraf, hat and gloves on (ketosis what fun....can you tell i am cold?!?!) but i am happy to feel this because LL has helped me achieve so much!! How i wish someone would invent underwear/clothes that constantly kept you warm....i have started looking at ski shops for inspiration!

Have a good evening all and weekend

Yes, Happy Weekend everybody! Actually, there's something to be said for being a saddo with no social life - I was one before LL and now I'm one with LL. No difference there then (except, like madhatter, I'm freezing cold!) :gen125:

Hi!

I only started LL on wednesday, and have already lost 8 pounds since then!! :D tonight has been, by far, my hardest night because most saturdays before going on LL i would either go out to eat or get a takeaway :( and there i was with my strawberry shake...

is it the ketosis which is making me cold then?!?! Sorry i don't know tooooo much about it atm! x

So it was a friend's birthday yesterday and I was invited up to London for a boozy meal and a drunken night out. I ummed and ahhed about whether to go but as I haven't seen her in ages I decided I would but only arriving after the meal. I managed to stay sober all night, not one sip of alcohol passed my lips, I resisted the KFC stop in on the way home and got in at 3:30am. Now, I'm not going to claim it was my best night out ever but it was good to feel absolutely fine on the train home this morning and today I'm feeling really good about myself regardless of the kebab fantasies I had in my sleep last night.

PS. I am always freezing in ketosis, especially my hands! I think it the first time I've ever been cold in a club!

Hey Mrs Lard
Inspirational as always! A few months of staying in at the weekend is deffo worth a lifetime of feeling good about yourself. When I socialise now I feel great and have regained my confidence. For all you dieters out there, stick with it as the rewards are huge (and you aren't lol)
