Understandable James. I got told once that 'things weren't working out' I told them that their company was working in the dark ages (this was 25 years ago as everything was becoming computerised) and I was completely bored. I never went back and they wrote to me to say they were disappointed in my actions lol.

I really admire you for sticking it out. The reasons you listed (via the friend) are just silly aren't they (not drinking tea, FFS!), but some places do have that kind of club atmosphere going - and I don't mean nightclub - if you're not a member, they force you out. Sounds like you have kept your principles in a place where they think scruples are money in Russia

I had time out last year because of the poor job market and it got pretty ick for me, just the sector I work in - and I don't know what I would have done without the mad people, sorry, friends on here - but please pm me if you ever want to chat about it.
