January 2009 - Starters

Well - work laptop isn't working so I decided to use my time to get some activity (ah, see LLC I do listen to you!)

I done around 20 mins of my rebounder DVD (can't do more as a beginner and it does kill you), all my boob-firming exericse.

What to do another session on the rebounder this evening along with core and strength exercises.

Decided - when I last had some success with the gym it was because I went to classes in the morning. So, I have decided to TRY (and I stress TRY) to get up about an hour earlier to do the lovely rebounder and get me going in the morning. Then all the loveley strength/core/legs and dog walking in evening!
 
Hope you're all doing well. You should all have some bits by now!! I told my LLC not to bother as I already have the ped, ball, band and CD. Well actually, I need another ball because the dog thought it was fantastic and jumped on it even though its HUGE!

Em, I should think you needed the boob firmers after doing rebound! Mind you don't do any damage there.:eek::p:D:D
 
Everyone seems to have caught an exercise bug. It's great! I've just joined a research programme on weight loss and number of steps taken per day. Got a snazzy pedometer - but did 4000 first day and only 3000 today. Well below the 10,000 I should be doing. Have to boost this at the weekend.

i've managed to my 10,000 again today - really getting into the pedometer.
ive also drank more water than i normally have been doing

Daisy- you're doing brilliantly with the walking. Especially with the weather outdoors being so baltic. Brrr. I holed up today. Swim tomorrow though.
 
Wey hey, week 3 weigh in lost 5 lb's, LLC put on my record card 16 lb's, lost 5lb's each week but the oz's all add up to another 1 lb.

Well done everyone with the weight losses, I guess it will slow down and I too will probably be disappointed when I get a 2lb's but I hope to average out over the month.

thin inside - i have been doing most of my steps on the free step on my wii fit (i did go for a short walk in the snow, but only about 1000 steps)

Well done on the steps Daisy. Can't wait to use my Wii again!! Sad that I miss it really but it's so... well, private I guess. (Can't stand gyms). Where is the free step bit? I haven't looked for it yet but I might have a nosey tomorrow.
 
Ahh A Wii. I want one! My birthday in April, maybe I will treat myself :D

foxtrot the free step is in the aerobic section - in the middle of the bottom row. it needs to be unlocked before you go on it.

its great as i stick on eastenders and step for half an hour - mind you after 2 days my calves are aching a bit today, which i;m really surprised about!

Thanks Daisy, I was just about to have a go, knee withstanding of course. And calves aching is a good thing! Those normal width boots will be yours in no time!!:D:D

Welcome any newbies and well done on your losses everyone.

Glad you've perked up Daisy. I can totally relate to how you feel - my WIs were 8lbs, 2lbs, 3lbs, and I missed last week because of the snow. I was gutted but the support of everyone on here has helped me put it in perspective :)

Sharon, hope you're alright after the dentist, I haven't had a chance to catch up with everyone yet. Good to know about our LLC doing BP - I've been worrying about getting mine done because I didn't have the initial medical because my records were transferrred from my old LLC.

I've just come back from 2 days away at an exhibition at the NEC. Spent 2 full days wandering around - wish I'd worn my pedometer now - that would have been interesting :doh:

I survived a meal out on Wednesday and I'm really chuffed that I did it easily. We went to a pub that served the most wonderful food but I asked the waitress if she could check with the chef if he'd make up my soup, and he did. It was served at the same time as my colleagues' meals and it was very well made and served in a little bowl :) Didn't get my last 2 packs until after I got back to the hotel that night because I just wasn't hungry (or even psychologically hungry with all the smells around). I'm really surprised how easy it was after worrying about it :D

Good to see you back Sarah (WG)! Sounds like you've done your exercise for this week - told you to wear flatties! So proud of you for sticking to LL throughout.

I'll be abstinent in Developers for weeks and weeks, but only 9 weeks left of Foundation? I'm not sure whether that makes me happy or sad tbh!

My weekend plans have changed, so I'll be around. Have a good weekend everyone (where does the week go?)
