Could i join please? Im new to the forum but am working my way through couch to 5k so would like to set a target of doing the 3 sessions a week it asks you to do. I have done 1 session this week and am planning one tomorrow and Wednesday.My SW week runs from Thursday to Thursday :) x

I always find making bulk meals helps out. On saturday i made a massive chilli con carne and did a curry in the slow cooker and that made me 9 meals (probably 18 for most people). I freeze most of em and just put them in the fridge the day before i want them and if you always have a couple in the fridge theres always something there to grab if you are having a bad moment.

If you plan ahead for your meals you cant go wrong and with the exercise, if you plan a time that fits in even if its 10 mins something is better than nothing.

Only managed 20mins of Pre-natal Pilates 2day. It was my own fault tho as I started back 2 work after my xmas hols n shud really ave been more organised! lol! Been batch cookin this evenin tho so dinners 4 the next few nites r sorted - no excuse now 4 the rest of the week!!!

20 mins is great. I still haven't done much today, but am going to get the wii out now and jiggle the flabby bits with a bit of step and cycling I think. My exercise isn't very strenuous but I feel better for doing it even if I only manage short bursts around other things that need to be done. Well done on the batch cooking. It saves lots of time in the long run.

Batch cookin is my life saver! I just wish I'd done loads more while I was off but I was on hols after all! lol!
Good 4 u puttin the Wii on at this time of nite hun. I kno u say it's not strenuous but its still activity n oh so much better than sittin front of the telly! I can't really claim my pilates is very strenuous either I'm afraid but it's still keepin me flexible n toned (I hope! lol!) so it's worth it in the end
 
I have some joint pain so am taking it carefully with exercise but have been given an Air Walker which is helping.. I have been aiming for 10 mins a time (either 3 tracks on a CD or so many steps..) Last night I managed to do a 1,000 steps in 10 mins... I felt ok on 500 and just kept going. Once I work out my pedometer I can guage how much the distance is. I used to dance a lot and do aerobics but have damaged too many tendons over the years so am taking it a tad easy at the moment.
