Hi, I went back to SW last nite, avant been for approx 6 years, where I had lost 5 1/2 stone, and unfort for me Ive put on 3 1/2 stone back on.. so confidence is back to being a low... dread going out, dread getting photo taken. And with me aving recently gone thru ALOT of changes in the last 6 months, eg leaving kids with dad and moving back to hometown, going thru divorce, getting full time job which is in a kitchen making cakes etc and moving in with my partner who also loves his food and drink....So now its time for me to move forward and get rid of this xtra weight which I know will do me good and my partner will lose too... So im needing some SW buddies, im trying to get my head around the EE, the consultant last nite didnt explain things to the newbies... so my books are out and just trying to get sorted! So if anyone wants to be buddies... i would love to chat with anyone... xx
Hiya, I did SW in 2011 and lost 5 stone, then stopped because similarly I went through a divorce and it all got a bit much. Since then I've regained 1st 12lbs, so I rejoined on 5th Jan 2015 to lose that again and hopefully some more! 9lbs gone so far thank goodness! Welcome to the forums and good luck!
Hi, I'm not surprised that you've regained some of the weight that you lost. Life seems to have chucked some real rubbish in your direction...... But hey! you've come through it well enough to be able to think about losing weight.
So...... you've done the hardest bit, joining SW so it should be easier from now on.
Good luck with your goals, you deserve it.
Hope the link below helps you x
Good luck with the SW. I joined after I got to the point I couldn't walk up stairs without being out of breath. That and my daughter pointed out I have a fat belly. So weight is coming off slowly but surely and plan is to keep it off.
I went to group in 2010/2011 and then a lot of personal stuff got in the way - I am now an online member, having went to the groups in the past it makes it easier to understand.
Thank u everyone for ur support..:gen126::gen126:.I'm going food shopping tomorrow get the fruit n veg in...going for a chinese tomorrow nite which I will watch what I am eating and probably just have 1 or 2 drinks! But def back on plan on Sunday plus I'm saving my syns! My partner luckly for me is willing to eat what i have which makes it easier! Basically i need to get back in control of things!! Thanks again xx
I have got to target three times now and each of the first two times put some on again, never quite as much as I'd lost but I stopped going to my club even though it was free at target but I WILL not stop going to classes most weeks now and ensure I don't forget the rules Tina pointed out above. Well done everyone, we have to keep reining in but enjoying the syns! as well as the programme! Good luck everyone :grouphugg::happy036:
We have to all realise that SW does work when we do it 100%, I really have NO IDEA how it works but am grateful it does as I lose weight and am NEVER hungry! (Ok so I'm not proud that I haven't written all my syns down this week!)
Had my first weigh in and was amazed i had a loss... 5 1/2 lb... and that was with a birthday and anniversary meal with family and a few bacardis..so I am very happy... just feel as if I need to get into it properly...

Wow what a great start! As we said it does work if you play the game correctly. Keeping reading the book (if you have one) or online if you haven't and you will get into it properly.
Fed up of never finishing. Even during my welcome talk I was a bit negative, you know, 'here I am again!'. Everytime I've started I am bigger than the last time.
I too started back a less than a week ago. Since I have been with my new partner (4 years) I had put on nearly 3.5 stone. Well done On this weeks loss. I also had a birthday this week, and ended up with 2 takeaways, but think I will lose something
For me now it has to be a whole of life plan, I don't ever want to go back to weighing more than I do now so I can't ever imagine totally finishing. Don't be negative about restarting - seriously its the people who don't restart who are the losers - not us! WE have to keep on keeping on! Good luck to us all, we can do it.
