Does anyone use Stevia for sweetening foods? Is it ok? I don't like sweet foods myself but for those that crave sweet things it might be a bit of a help............or am I completely wrong?

I think Atkins himself said stevia was the best sweetener possible. I've never really known what it is.

Well, yes, but I mean more I've never seen it in the supermarket etc and didn't think it was widely available here so I haven't given it much thought.

Well, I might be tempted to grow it if I liked sweet things.

Yeah I don't think it's licensed for sale in the UK at the moment/yet.

I'd also love to try it - seems all the rage across the pond and much better than Splenda with all its carby bulking agents!
