Not really as you can't eat unlimited amounts, except of certain veg. You would mix protein & carbs if you wanted but you count everything. Depends on whether you do the points plan or the core plan, core plan is unlimited types of certain foods and points is more flexible, i.e. you can if you want to have a packet of crisps but you count it all. Whatever you decide, I wish you all the best.
