just wondered??

This is my first week, second time. But what is a good weight loss in the first week, some of you seem to loose nearly a stone, which i would love, but last time in my first week i only lost 5lb, don't get me wrong, i'm happy with that, but what is it you do that makes you loose soooo much weight in week one, any advice greatly welcomed!!

Its the water held in your glycogen stores basically, along with some fat, but the first whoosh is mostly water in the first week. HTH! :)

I lost 7lbs in my first week ... I was disapointed at first but I guess it depends how 'bad' you have been in the days leading up to your CD. If you ate loads every night then I would imagine your loss would be more ... if you have started a few days before by going carb free then some of your big weight loss may have occured before your first WI kwim.
