    Hi all,

I have been motivated by all you restarters to have another go at CD. I lost about 1.5 stones just before Christmas (had lost half a stone before starting) and did quite well maintaining (well, putting on 2-3lbs then taking it off again, then doing it all again) up until three weeks ago. Then it all went haywire.

Last week I was away with work for 6 days. The week before, I was working like hell and I had one child already on school holidays so the stress made me eat. When I was away, fantastic food was put in front of me morning noon and night and, of course, I couldn't resist. Now I seem to have lost all restraint. I now have three kids off school and I still have a mountain of work to do and I just don't seem to be able to deal with the stress in any other way. Pathetic, I know.

I had got down to 10st 10lbs, was in size 12 jeans and I felt brilliant. I'm now about 11st 3lbs, all my new clothes feel tight and I feel horrible.

I know I can't restart CD until the kids are all back at school, but I am going to try to cut down and keep off the chardonnay!! Anyway, I just wanted to say "Hi". You guys helped me do it last time, so I'm hoping I can get back on it again.

    thinking about it

:sigh: i'm thinking of starting again. i got slim-fast last week and thought i'd use the shakes 3 times a day. it's all gone pear shaped for me too. my 6 year old went back yesterday, he'd been off since the wednesday before easter. i've gone back to work after being off a year with our one year old. thought it would be easier back but tere's cake, biscuits etc etc. it's like have a coffee, have a cake. i've creeping up a pound every week. anyway, went to morrisons tonight and got the shopping, bloody £186 (i keep thinking about them poor chickens so buy free range/organic ones) that's what bumped my price up i teel myself. though i did buy chocolate orange cookies and dou-nuts as i'm thinking of emailing my cdc and asking if i can come back. it'll be like my last supper again. hell, how many times have i said this i ask myself. so good luck when you go back. i suppose it would help if the weather was a bit better thinking that we may be getting a summer, we can hope :)

it's pants isn't it, why do we keep doing this to ourselves and everytime we restart we've probably put 7lb on with messing around for a week or so. right well i'm gonna open my tin tomorrow and see how this week goes. if no joy then i'm going to give my cdc a bell and go back there. i'm also thinking of taking my scales over to my olds and getting weighed there on a monday when i drop the little one off. i may even drop her a fiver then i'll have some spends when i eventually get to target. propbably won't need clothes then. that money will pay for my nursing home fees the way i'm going.

Thanks for the support ladies. Georgie, you look absolutely fab! You looked fab when I was last on the site, but now you look utterly amazing. Hedgemag, I recall you were doing really well before Christmas. When did it go pear shaped? Helsbels, how much do you want to lose?

Managed to delete my ticker by mistake. Nneed to sort it all out again.

i want to loose 4 stone now. i've lost 15lb with cd, well think i've put 3 on. after looking at porgeous's photos on her bucket photo thing and her new one i've now emailed my cdc. i'm now awaiting a reply. he little ones will be off this week so not sure if shes away or not. i think as soon as i get in from work and sorted everyones tea out i'll have to come and sit upstairs on here away from the food and the smells. if its dry i'll walk the dog but it's rained up here in the north east all day. anyway i've left the bleach on the tiles in the shower so will go armed with tooth brush and get scubbing.

    Welcome back K9,

I think that is a very sensible approach cutting down as it does make it so much easier to get back to SSing and you do get into ketosis much quicker.

I am going to need to restart when I get back from holiday on Friday. I had packed some tetras at least to replace 1 or 2 meals a day but they were all taken off me at Vancouver airport because they contained milk and the reason given was Mad Cow disease. So I felt a bit at a loss without them and can feel already that I have put on some pounds-it seems so easy to do that! So will be joining you all next week yet again! I will need to update my ticker but it is so upsetting putting the numbers back!

    Hi Helsbells,
Do sort out a ticker. It really does make a difference, I think, to motivation levels. It hurts to put the pounds back on it and watch it move the wrong way! It takes a bit of sorting out, but once you have sorted it, its as easy as pie. I have just sorted out a new one and I have started SSing today. Hope you get to your CDC soon.

Thanks for all the encouragement, ladies.
