Katycakes Won't Give Up...

Hey KC --

I am about to do my "dog walk" and as I walk I am going to do my "assignment" from fat-to-fit-foto. I joined the day before yesterday and took (and uploaded) my first photo yesterday. And, I got an email this morning from the website. It makes walking the same route, with the same little dog, who is sniffing the same spots more interesting to say the least.

MM

P.S. I am thinking about my lunch, too. The morning (until noon) always goes so slowly, then somehow I am stressed and running out of time by afternoon. Weird how the day speeds up.

Good on the 1lb loss Katy, I echo Lelly in that I hope totm comes soon and gets rid of an extra pound or two and definitely that headache.

The prog last night did miss out some important info didn't it? It talked of big losses being water weight in the first week, celebrated all the week's losses with each dieter but didn't explore the obvious which was the weight that would inevitably go back on as soon as normal food was eaten again. Strange how only a week was dealt with in each programme as well, were they recommending that a crash diet should only be followed for a week? Odd. Also sadly, even thought the dieters were pleased with their losses, I didn't think it made a scrap of difference to how they looked, it just wasn't followed for long enough.
What was good though was mentioning the emotional things people felt and why - hormones and so on..that was helpful.

Scary though mentioning the health problems, gangrene, gall stones, hair loss etc....Ugh. Still if they are followed properly?.....

Have a good Thursday. xx

Well done Katy on the 1lb loss, I weighed myself this morning (de ja vu, I do it every morning.... ha ha) and I weighed 12 stone 5.4lb, so we really are neck and neck and it will be good to lose it together and hopefully get to goal together.... I had my hungry day yesterday, today isn't too bad so far, afternoons are always my downfall so dont have my first half a shake until lunchtime, then a bar after picking the children up from school and a porridge and half a shake at dinner time..... might try it with cinnamon sprinkled on the top tonight... sounds yummy.

Have a good Thursday and stay strong, I will feel guilty if you dont stay 100%....

Well done KC. You sound like you have got things sorted in your head, so great stuff.

I've been mega busy today and the time has just flown. Love it!!!

Have a fab afternoon x

What Flavour? I am fond of Choc Orange.

Oh, I don't have any of that... was cappucino. Sigh. I like choc orange, had forgotten all about them, will get some next time!

As Dawn French so rightly said... it's NOT Terry's. It's mine. I used to be addicted to those bars!

Clever girl......I'm thinking, do you think Katy knows we are playing in her diary? :D

Na, she's probably making that mousse last and last!!.......bet she's licking the bowl now if she thinks we aren't looking........

I escaped the others eating Macaroni Cheese and garlic bread, thought it was safer up here on my computer with a cup of coffee..... my bowl of porridge didn't last long.

more than one mousse! Lol. And your prize for the most words created from the phrase 'mousse time' is a delicious celery stick... and it goes to Bess!

Hello hun :)

Yay for the lb weight loss :D How was the mousse? I`ve never tried it. Might freeze one of my choc teras this week tho ;)

I hope you have a great weekend, Do you have any plans? Xx

Hi SS, good to see you back in the madhouse! Liking the mousse, except that it's so COLD and cold is not good right now! But love the way it adds variety, and you can get a LOT of mousse from one shake the way I make it!

Three weeks and one day in, and today the scales say 12st 5. Yay!!! Another lb off, after things going so slowly for so long. That has made me smile and spurred me on, I now the journey is going to be a slower one for me this time but just need a little evidence sometimes that something is happening! No headache either, but still no totm! Hormones have been all over the place lately, I have no clue what is going on, but that's CD for you.

Outside is cold but clear. Our heating has been playing up so will go get some logs in and make a fire in the burner I think. Wishing everyone a FAB Friday!
