how long after having shake did you do it? if it was within a couple of hours i found mine would be negative sometimes
the other thing is the sticks are very fragile and can easily become disfunctional - if exposed to moisture/bent etc etc so that could be it

i wouldn't stress too much - as long as you are sticking to the plan you WILL lose weight

I would have to agree. Its best to use the sticks in the mornings to see how you are getting on. Sometimes the carbs in the packs can bring you out of ketosis for a short period of time.

I would say it is almost impossible that you are not in ketosis by now.
I suggest that you are probably checking too soon after having a pack or bar.
Our LLC used to check with the stick each week at class before WI.
Do you need to do it yourself?
