I've read on some posts about people saying they are delighted that they are in ketosis
How do you know if you are, sorry if that seems like a stupid question:)

Do you get out of ketosis after a while, even on VLCD?

As long as you don't have any sugar then you remain in ketosis. The problem is there is sugar in lots of things. Things that maybe you wouldn't think of, like fruit, potatoes, rice, pasta, bread, carrots, sweetcorn, fizzy drinks etc and the obvious sweets/biscuits/choc will all knock you out of ketosis.

Thanks....I am chuffed, but like a typical women, I'd still like to lose another half a stone or so.
