ketosis?

i have bought ketostix .... what colour should they turn if your in ketosis please ...... is it pink? and purple for being dehydrated ....

yep it should be pink.....on the side of the pot there is a guide.....

Mine turned purple, which is apparently dehydrated which I have no idea why I would be with 2ltrs down me, so apparently that is ketosis aswell (the purple i mean) x

Yes the purple is ketosis as well. How long was it between your 2ltrs and testing for ketosis - did you drink your water all at once or was it spaced evenly throughout the day? Alternatively you might just be one of those people who goes into/stays in ketosis very easily.

I spread it through the day, but had drank around 750ml about half hour before testing myself. xx

Sounds to me like you're ok then ...it is water you're drinking, not coffee or black/green tea?

Nope, I can't stand coffee, and haven't touched tea for at least 10 days now. I hope so, I really thought I was, and now beginning to doubt myself. xx

Yay, good for you then, sounds like you're doing well My ketostix tend to come up dark too even though I'm on 4-5 ltrs water per day.
