kidney infection

Hi all..

I am mad to get started on this diet
Am only over the 3 months after an operation and now have a kidney infection, anyone on the diet had one and continued..the antibiotics have to be taking with food?
Would love to hear.

Because ketosis puts additional pressure on your kidneys it is NOT advisable to SS whilst you have an infection as it can slow down your recovery.

Take you antibiotics, and when you have finished the course you can start on Step 1 once again!

thank you very much...didn't know that :O am finished them tomorrow and starting ss, must tell my counsellor she thinks im still on the antib's but said it was alright :O XX
