Kinda losing the plot just now

    Evening all,

    i'm hoping for some inspiration tonight as i seem to be losing my way with the diet. For the past 2 nights ive gone over my points. Not out of hunger just greed. Im not talking WAY over, just 1 or 2. Thing is if i carry on like this itll be adding too much on which i dont want to do. I seem to be in the mind set of oh never mind ill put it right tomorrow, but then tomorrow never comes. Please someone help before i ruin my hard work :(

    Ps sorry for rambling but i needed to get that out.

    healthy eating
    maybe you need to plan having a couple of point over for nighttime so you can have something within your points - its the hardest part of the day for me too.

    yes plan an evening snack into your day or up your activity levels and eran some activity points to balance it out.

    I am ok in the evenings but my worst time is around 4pm when the girls are home from school and munching their way through the kitchen-i just wanna join in !!!

    i think ill have to save some or earn like you say. Its just around 8pm onwards. Fine up till then and all of a sudden after that all i want to do is eat. Not good food either just crap. I dont have crap in the house anymore though cos of the diet. Its usually a packet of quavers and a ww bar. But i need to learn to stop snacking. *smacks own hand*

    Evening is worst for me too for snacking so you have my sympathy. I try to make sure I have some points left for a snack at the end of the day. Or if I'm desperate to snack and have no points I go for sugar free jelly. Have you got a good list of low point snacks?

    Yeah i think this is all great advice above. I think if you can you need to be saving a few points for on a night so you dont feel so bad about it because if youre only going over by a couple then youre only going over by a little bit. if not then you need to consider no point snacks or ... i saw this on one of the other threads -- half a point bag of snack a jacks popcorn!!

    I will consider all of the above. Thankies to all. I think my main problem is breaking old habits. I'll get there though, will just take time.

    What are you doing at 8pm?

    You need to fill the void of eating with something else. Sunday night is my worst night, so all weekend i've put off washing with a view to doing it tonight. its worked. I've finally stayed in my points on a sunday!

    I just had to keep busy instead of doing nothing and eating
