I think most people do make the most of it before they start. I was pretty sensible this time and it seemed to help me avoid the unpleasant side effects that some go through in the first few days.

Well done for making the decision to get on with it and good luck. Keep posting. :)

Thanks. I have been pointing and slimfasting for the last god knows how long and i have lost 4.5 stone but the last few lbs just wont go! Hubby and i are away for the weekend so i thought bugger it i never really get involved with food with him its a nice change to be just chilling out with him. I cant wait for mon tho x

Was just looking back at my notebook and saw that the day before i started doing VLCD i ate all the following in the space of one day - it was my "last supper" which turned into several meals:

1. 3 pieces of KFC original recipe chicken

2. KFC mini-fillet

3. McDonalds Miami burger

4. McDonalds small chips

5. McDonalds onion rings

6. 4 bottles coke

7. Medium dominoes pizza

I can hardly believe that i actually ate all that. I wouldn't even attempt it now if i were to go on a binge, i'd probably be really ill just having the pizza or a single burger as i haven't eaten a meal in so long.
