**Laura's Student Food Diary!**

Hi all!

I started SW a little over a month ago. And found this site shortly after! I do mainly ee days but like to switch it up to green days too when I'm in the mood! The aim is to lose 2 stone, preferably before my holiday in sept! but if I can power through this diet and lose hit target by the start of summer break in early June that would be a bonus!

Thursday 7th April - EE

Bad times. Started my * month today and got an assignment deadline for tomorrow! Needless to say, I really felt like dipping into the chocolates big time but put it off for the greater good. Otherwise, the day has been good! Sun is shining, in Manchester no less! What's not to be happy about? (apart from this assignment, haha!)

Breakfast:
2 weetabix (HEX B) w/ milk (HEX A)
Banana

Lunch:
Jacket potato with baked beans
SW tuna pasta w/ tomatoes & onions

Dinner:
Spag bol
Lettuce
Sweetcorn

Snacks:
Apples
Muller light yoghurt
7 x quality street chocolates (14 syns)

Total syns: 14

V. V. Naughty day today! I was bricking it to make my deadline today and needed a sugar rush to make it through the all nighter! Woops. Then I had a subway to top it off! Oh well, I'm in control of my actions so I don't feel guilty or anything. I'll just have to be super angelic this weekend. Though I've gone back home for Easter and the kitchen is overflowing with pizza, cookies and muffins!

Friday 8th April 2011- EE

Breakfast:
2 weetabix w/ milk (HEX A + B)
Bananas

Lunch:
Veggie delight subway (10 syns)

Dinner:

Wednesday 13th April - Green

Hi guys, sorry for the lack of entries this week as I went away orienteering this past weekend and couldn't really access any Internet! WI Wednesday today and it STS. Pretty chuffed, given the amount of biscuits and chocolates I shamelessly ate during the hike. Starting anew this week!

Breakfast:
2 weetabix w/ss milk (HEX A+B)
1 wholemeal slice of toast w/ scrambled eggs (HEX B)

Lunch:
Jacket potato and baked beans

Dinner:
Vegetable stir fry with noodles

Snacks:
Cadbury flake (6.5 syns)
3 assortment biscuits (7 syns)

Total syns: 13.5 syns

Woops, forgot to log in my food diary yesterday!

Anyway, today I must finally get on with some revision for these ever looming exams :( purposely distracted myself by watching season 2 of Lost yesterday, but no more! Although one more episode might not hurt...mhmm...

Also going to start working out today. Maybe warm up with a long jog before dinner. :)

Hi there! Thanks for reading, I also have a bad habit of eating junk during exam time. Would love to really kick the habit. :p How's your easter going?

Hey hun just thought I'd pop in to wish you luck on your sw journey and your exams. Try arming yourself with lots of free food to munch on if you feel a binge coming on plus green days are good to fill up on carbs and you get to have 2 HexA and 2 HexB so you can have extra cereal or cheese on toast when you're revising. xx

Get yourself all prepared with yummy free/low syn snacks for exam time, but also don't worry too much about the food, the exams are the important bit!!! I work shifts so I never get extra days off for Easter so I hadn't really thought about it up until yesterday.........I got given 2 eater eggs!!! And some Easter money - I'm 27 but oh parents and grandparents still treat us! Love it!!! Hope your not studying too hard!!x

Thanks guys! These are all great tips! As soon as I get back to uni I'm going to make up a box full of syn free snacks to help me get through this dreaded month! For now while I'm at home for the Easter break I must be careful of what I eat since the parents cook with oil, though I did introduce fry light to mum and she was all for it!

Too bad this family has a bad habit of stocking up the cookie tins, bah!

Saturday 16th April - EE

Good day today, very chilled just watching Tv most of the time. Surprisingly none of the usual sweet tooth cravings today so been 100%! Maybe because I replaced the sugar craving with loads of grapes haha!

Breakfast:
2 weetabix with ss milk (HEX A + B)
2 bananas

Lunch:
None

Dinner:
Beef
Brown basmati rice
Salad

Snacks:
Grapes
Clementines
Muller light yoghurt
Melon

Sunday 17th April- red day

Hi all! Good week all round. This week my mate's mum said 'why are you not a model?' looool! Of course I don't think im anywhere near that tiny waist-wise, but it still put a smile on my face!

Breakfast:
2 x weetabix w/ ss milk (2 x HEX A + B)

Lunch:
None

Dinner:
Chicken
Roasted vegetables

Snacks:
4x caramel snack a jacks (10 syns)

Monday 18th April- red day

Just come back after a 3.7km jog/walk and feel a lot better and refreshed to do some revision! Was a bit naughty today and ate 2 potatoes and a paratha on a red day, o well I'm only human! That's what I thought until I read the calories! Blimey! Learnt my lesson, no more cheeky picking!

Breakfast:
2x 2 weetabix w/ ss milk (2x HEX A+B)
Bananas

Lunch:
Peanut butter and jelly sandwich w/1 wholemeal bread slice (8.5 syns)

Dinner:
Beef mince

Tuesday 19th April - Red Day

Hi guys! WI tomorrow and I don't feel like I've lost at all! Just that gut feeling. Anyway, I realized that I hardly ever drink any water at all, except that naturally found in food! So today I made sure that I drank 8 glasses of water. Two before and after breakfast, and again before and after dinner. I found that it really suppressed my appetite. I always knew that drinking lots of water helps weight loss, but it's not my favorite thing to drink so I'm really bad at keeping up with the regime. I'm sure it won't affect tomorrow's result but it'll be interesting to see if I finally do get a loss the following week after so many weeks of STS.

Breakfast:
2 x 2 weetabix w/ ss milk (2X HEX A + B)
Bananas

Lunch:
none (just snacking on fruit)

Dinner:
Roasted lamb
Salad

Snacks:
1 x muller light yoghurt

Wednesday 20th April - EE

Hi all. Well it's WI today and I put on 3.5lbs! And in just one week?! I'm so confused! It put me in a sour mood all day. I never let STS bother me before but now that I've had such a massive gain I feel really disheartened. I've been on STS for weeks now, and today was a gain so I'm starting to question whether slimming world is for me and whether maybe I should go back to LL. I don't want to since it was so constrained, expensive and I didn't like my counselor but at least I lost!! Since I'm over at the parents for easter I don't have control over the cooking, so I do try to free up my syns to accommodate for what they may put in. Mhmmm...I don't know! Then I still got fed up anyway and had a flake bar! Maybe I should wait til I get back to uni where I know what I'm cooking and see if circumstances improve? All I know is that I feel like a hippo today. I can feel that extra fat I have gained on me! I know I should pick myself up but target just feels so far away and out of reach/rant.

Breakfast:

Low fat supernoodles
Mullerlight yoghurt

Dinner:
Chicken
Mashed potato
