Unfortunately we had a bit of bad news job-wise and so will have to tighten our purse strings from now on.

As this diet tends to cost a fair I will have to give it up.......I am going to go back to SW, BUT having seen how effective protein days are I am going to TRY and do 1-2pw still and hopefully I can keep losing:)

Thank you for your support for the short time I was here.

So sorry about job babe x
Maybe do low carb (then again is that like the red days). Dukan doesnt have to be expensive. You can get cheap tins of fish and go to supermarket when they reduce things and freeze a lot?
Its a shame as you were doing well.
Best of luck whatever you decide and keep us updated xxxx

Mel - have you already made the switch to SW? careful when reintroducing carbs else you'll regain all fast!

If you've not yet switched, can I also echo Vicky's words? On a French site, we did a survey on the cost of the diet and there are so many ways to do the diet cheaply. I'll start a thread and we can share our penny pinching ways - cos I certainly have plenty!

Good idea to share cheapo tactics.
My grocery bill has gone up but I'm not eating out in the week so its not had much impact for me so far.

my food bill is probably £25 higher per week, but offset a couple of takeaways per week, works out about the same :) and my clothes now fit...so no more shopping required for the meantime...
