Well today is my last day of chocolate and crisps until Easter as I'm giving them up for Lent. I've given up chocolate before but this is the first time I'm giving up crisps as well. I know it'll be hard as DH is a manager at a crisp factory, but I WILL DO IT!

Good luck

Good luck! I dont think I could give up crisps as they are my absolute weakness! I might attempt it though...or chocolate! I could give chocolate up a lot easier than crisps, but then again I might not give anything up ;)

I'm thinking of giving up something but don't know what! Maybe coke or something.....hm gonna have a think! x

i did it with diet coke last year and afer the 1st week it wasnt so bad am thinking about giving up chocolate this year but then i think about how i wouldnt be able to have my daily taz/freddo bar (3pp) so am not sure but all the best whatever you decide x-

I've decided on no bread! x

I couldn't give up diet coke. I am going to give up chocolate and alcohol. Good luck everyone and hopefully some good losses over the next few weeks.

Good luck everyone I'm going to give up alcohol it doesn't help with my weight loss and makes me feel rubbish anyway xox

Ive decided on salt. It might not sound much but my dinner is mormally white when i am finished with it and im on blood pressure tabs so should not be using it at all. I gave it up when i was pregnant so hoping ill be ok and it helps with weight loss from bloating etc x

Cake! I've given up cake for 40 days. Woop!

Good luck everyone!

Incidentally, does anyone give up for Lent, for religious reasons, or just because? I'm not particularly religious, just wondered :)

You can do it Mich!

My bloke's text me this morning... "dont forget to bake my dads birthday cake plz" dammit!
I've managed to BAKE the battenberg, just have to slice it up, assemble it, and cover it in Marzipan, without any of it falling in my mouth! I don't like marzipan, it'll be fine once its got that haha...
No cake, no biscuits. I'm doing it!

Yu can do it girls x x

I have soooo chosen the wrong time to stay off chocolate.

Tomorrow is my granddad's birthday - he would have been 90 but he passed away in October last year. I miss him so much it hurts and some chocolate would be really nice right about now.

Sorry to hear that hun but make him proud and do it for him x x

I've given up both chocolate and crisps. Had my last piece on Wednesday a kitkat and I'm getting evil evil headaches.

I'm thinking its a direct result as I normally have at least two chocolate bars and two or three packets of crisps.

Wrt religious reasons I'm not overly religious but have always done lent. I also use the time to try do something in the community.

I'm a secondary school teacher so I try to show the kids. I practice what I preach
