5 Xmas presents which are just wrong?

1) An iron/ironing board (or any other home utensil) unless asked for
2) Talc
3) novelty items that cost more than they're worth, Christmas pants/socks/ties.
4) Shapewear unless asked for.
5) Anything you 'need' as opposed to 'want', yes you may 'need' a new Dinner service, but no good as a present if you 'want' a bottle Chanel No 5!

Five foods you would never try/eat again!

Five foods you would never try/eat again!

1. Callos (tripe) it's awful even though the Spanish do add chorizo and a gorgeous tomato sauce
2. Raw Urchin - had this is Japan and I nearly threw up
3. Wasabi - the green horseradish paste that you get in suchi - blew my head off
4. Sprouts - I loathe them
5. Amoretto - in fact I hate anything with almond in except almonds themselves

5 All-time favourite meals (sorry if this has been done before)

On the subject of "wrong" xmas presents.
My darling, adorable hubby bought me an anchor one year for xmas. Yes . . . a real anchor for use at sea.
To be fair, I'd complained all year that our big main anchor on the bow of the boat was just too heavy for me to lift (it weighed 25 kg plus an extra 2 kg for each 1m of chain and we usually put out at least 20m of the stuff).
This was a nice light weight anchor in aluminium that only weighed about 3 kg ans you just used it with rope not chain. Cost a blumin, fortune and i have to say was excellent and made my life a lot easier. But for Xmas? WTF !!!!
