I feel this is a good one for me, as I (quite) recently left SW to start another plan (5:2). I don't want to slate the plan as it really did change my life for the better, but there are a few things that annoy me / that I disliked about the plan...

1. I found it had become quite restrictive, in regards to eating out / nights out / social events. Yes you have your Syns, but a lot of the time 15 just doesn't cover it, and saving them up throughout the week can make you feel deprived.

2. I didn't learn anything about portion sizes or relying on my body to tell me when it was hungry or full. I would pile my plates high simply because the food I was eating was "free", or quite often eat out of boredom or just because I could.

3. The fact that some healthy foods have Syns equal to chocolate! For example, avocado which is full of good fat and really good for you - 90g of it has the same Syns as a Cadbury Creme Egg. Go figure!? Similar feelings with regards to nuts, dried fruit, etc.

4. The restriction on things like bread, porridge, cheese, milk, etc - i.e. Healthy Extra's. I know it's everything in moderation, but actually it is okay to have porridge for breakfast and a sandwich later in the day.

5. The shopping bill! We found SW so expensive and as well as the weekly shop we were constantly topping up on fruit, veg, etc. which soon adds up!
