I completely agree with Lonestitcher. There is a minimum number of syns (5) for a reason. Besides, one of the great things about Slimming World is that it is designed for people to build a better relationship with food, and not alternate between superstrict and binge modes.
That said, I wonder if (like me) chocolate is a bit too much of a trigger food for you. Maybe plan to use your syns for something that you like, but that isn't a high-sugar binge-trigger. I sometimes make sweet french toast (syns are the bread) made by dipping bread into whisked up egg, sweetener and cinnamon mix, then fry over medium heat in a non-stick pan with frylight on both sides til golden. Serve with cherries (I buy them frozen in the supermarket and defrost in microwave so they're slightly warm) and vanilla activia. Delicious, and more satisfying than the syns equivalent of chocolate. If you want an instant fix, have a piece of fruit (or maybe make a syn-free pasta bake and keep it on standby for if you get the munchies. Crab sticks or syn free cooked meat it good for beating those moments as well). Syn free food is your weapon against binge-habits. Go stock up your armoury and battle it out xx
