Looking at joining online??

#1
Hi all,

Im looking at joining sw but because of work commitments and shift work i would struggle to attend a group regularly and so I have been looking at joining as an online member. Can anyone tell me, other than the group support is there anything else that I wont have access to be an online member please.

many thanks

You can't buy hifi bars and have to pay postage costs for books if you buy any but apart from that I can't think of anything else you would miss. Good luck!

Mm, well when I started I bought the low syn snacks, free foods and the Directory. I haven't used any bar the directory which has been quite useful especially for taking on holiday if I didn't have internet access. It is usually out of date before it's printed though. I haven't bought any cook books because I'm not particularly adventurous and have tried and tested favourites of my own. I've just adapted recipes to make them SW friendly. Tbh, the recipe section on here is just as much help.

I'm not sure I've helped much there, have a browse and see what you think!

I am an online member (I have just joined a group this week though for a bit of extra support) It is good to have recipes to hand online and the food diary is good especially to calculate syns. It is expensive but can be a good motivator.

I have bought the recipe books online and they are great...the p and p wasn't much. I have the Extra Easy summer days and Extra Easy Meals in Minutes both if which are amazing!
