Losing for the last time...

So, I joined SW 6 weeks ago having tried WW SO many times before, lost the weight and then put it all back on again if not more!! WW always used to make me a little but crazy with all the counting etc and SW just seems so much more sensible to me. This WILL be the last time I lose weight and I plan to keep it off this time...

I started SW at 10st 11.5 (although started the diet the week before thanks to a wonderful friend already doing it and was then 11st 2) and at last week's weigh in I was 10st 3.5. My target is 9st.

Decided I'd start a food diary as so many other people have given me inspiration on here through reading their diaries.
 
Haven't eaten enough today as I've been out and travelling, but here it is anyway...

B - eggs, beans, bacon

L - turkey breast, nectarine, grapes, bananas

D - mugshot, mullerlight

Hex a - skimmed milk in tea and coffee
Hex b - 2 alpen light bars
Syns - 3 Rocky bars (5 syns each)

Have t eaten anywhere near enough today. Hopefully will have more time tomorrow...
 
Today I got up stupidly late with a massive sore throat. So I've had...

B/L - bananas, 2 alpen light (hexb)

Snack - turkey breast

D - SW mushy pea curry with chicken, broccoli, sugar snap peas, carrots, baby corn followed by Mullerlight yoghurt

Just about to go out for drinks, so going to have to watch myself. Planning on having 2 125 ml glasses of Prosecco at 4.5 each.
 
That's a fab loss, well done! Mushy pea curry sounds interesting! I made the chicken dopiaza last week it was lush.
 
Thank you. The mushy pea curry sounds strange, but it's really yummy. I always make a big batch of sauce so I've got a few meals worth in the fridge. The chicken dopiaza sounds lovely too - might have to try that one out.
 
Breakfast today was Mullerlight, 2 Alpen Light bars and a banana.

Planning on having more of the mushy pea curry sauce with prawns, mushrooms and whatever other veg I've got from last night for lunch to fill me up as I'll probably only manage a mugshot and some fruit/Mullerlight in between rehearsals later.
 
I've got soup again today, blended with my hand blender it's more like baby food but yummy!

Ended up being cooked for this evening after a rehearsal, but was all quite SW friendly - roast chicken (I took the skin off), rice and veg with 2 very small glasses of wine. Managed to resist the wine in the pub afterwards (impressed myself!).

Have a massive cold and sore throat, so craving chocolate. Going to tuck myself into bed and have a Rocky caramel bar (5 syns), which will probably take me slightly over for today. Oops!
 
Forgot to add that I did manage to walk nearly 5 miles this afternoon...
 
Ah well done that sounds great! I was miserable this afternoon but restrained myself to just a froyo and a couple of pick and mix at the cinema. Only slightly over, will be extra good tomorrow!
 
I'm trying to be good today after wine and chocolate yesterday. Trying to get rid of this cold before a concert tomorrow. I've got a friend coming for lunch though, so will have to be careful with the wine again!! Am making the SW beef chilli. It's cooking as I type. Looks yummy...
 
Well, ended up having half a bottle of cava. Oops! However, looking on the internet, it turns out that this may only be 13 syns. sounds a bit too good to be true, but here's hoping. SW beef chilli with rice was lovely and then had a Mullerlight. Now going to have a nap (I sound really old!!) to try and shake off this cold. I will probably have a Mugshot, some fruit and another Mullerlight this evening as I are quite a lot of the chilli.
 
Mmm how do u make the chilli beef?

I am starting again since last night I'm a retired sw consultant I gained 2 stone so im now 11.7 and a half :-(

I want to get back down to 9.7 again. Think im goin to do the count down next week :)
 
The chilli beef is lovely. It's 500g extra lean beef, 1 onion and 3 garlic cloves fried with 2 tbsps ground cumin, 1 tsp ground coriander and 2 tsps paprika, then add 2 chopped carrots, 4 chopped celery sticks and 400g chopped tomatoes and simmer for about 20 minutes, then add tin of kidney beans in chilli sauce and cook for about 5 more minutes. I got it from a little recipe book that came with (I think) the last SW magazine.

Good luck with starting back again. I'm hoping this will be the last time I have to lose weight - so fed up with having to start again. I can't even remember the amount of times I did that! I'm hoping that my move to SW from WW will do the trick.
 
I was having a good week until I gave in to wine last night!! I'm going to have to be careful tomorrow too as I've got a concert, which are generally followed by drinks!! My meeting is on Monday evening. How's your week going so far? When's your WI?
 
I've been so ill with this cold today that I've hardly had any appetite. Ate a Mullerlight and 2 alpen light bars and managed to eat 2 bananas during the day, but nothing else :-( Had a few cups of tea and diet cokes. Thinking I'm going to have to have something before I go to bed otherwise I'll be a bit of a mess! Might try and have a mugshot and maybe a Mullerlight.
 
Had a cheeky look on scales this morning and was 9st 13.6! first time in 9s for absolute AGES!! Woop! Just hoping it stays that way for Mon WI.

So far today, I've had 2 alpen light bars (hexb), Mullerlight yoghurt, mugshot and a cup of tea. Desperately trying to kick this cold with a rest day, but realised I don't have any fruit, veg or anything else sensible in, so going to have to go shopping...
