Hello everyone!

I have been a member of Minimins for a while now, and a past SW-er. I followed the plan from October 11 - Jan 12 and then fell off the wagon. In total I lost a stone on the plan and now I am back, this time for good! I attended classes the first time round but found my consultant rather uninspiring and unfortunately there are no other classes I can get to so this time I am doing it alone.

Armed with my books, Minimins and determination I am hoping to reach my goal weigh 8 stone 7lbs. I don't really mind when I do it just as long as I get there!

So todays food:

Breakfast:
1.5 Shredded Wheat - HEXB
125ml Semi skimmed milk - 1/2 HEXA
Strawberries - 1/3 SF

Lunch:
Homemade leek and potato soup - 1/3 SF
3 Ryvita Crackerbreads- 3 syns
35g Philidelphia light - 1/2 HEXA
Cucumber - 1/3 SF

Dinner:
Cheese and Broccoli Pasta n Sauce - 0
Lettuce - 1/3 SF
Frozen Veg - 1/3 SF

Snacks:
2 x clementimes - SF
1 x nectarine -SF
1 x muller light - 0
25g Mini Cheddars - 6.5

Total Syns - 9.5

I bought some WW scales yesterday and weighed myself for my starting weight this morning – 10st 13lb :eek: gulp! The only saving grace is I am not as heavy as when I started SW last time, but only by 2lbs! Anyway, it is a starting point and I am never seeing that number again so I am looking at it that way!

This morning was really busy at work and I had a team meeting from as soon as I sat down till 10.30am so I didn’t get breakfast until then. I felt alright up until lunchtime when my constant hunger returned. I haven’t felt full since I started SW and I am really not sure why – I am eating enough surely. Last time I did it I never felt hungry so I can’t work out the reason I am now!

Need to get some running done – only 11 days until the Great North Run! Going to try and fit it in tomorrow maybe :).

Woohoo Friday! Now comes for the real test, the weekend. I am feeling really motivated at the moment though and really hate how I look so that should spurr me on in the low moments. Haven't managed all my HEXA & B so far, but will try and fit them in after tea.

I always find it hard to control my eating on the weekend. My main problem is eating consistently throughout the day and avoiding convenience foods.

Breakfast:
Weetabix Minis - HEXB
Milk - HEXA

Lunch:
Salad - 1/3 SF
Roast Chicken - 0
Ham - 0

Tea:
Frittata from here (I am not putting in chorizo though) - 6 (for cheese)
Salad - 1/3 SF
Mexican Rice - 0

Snacks:
Mango and Passion fruit Frappuccino - 9.5

Total syns: 9.5

Argh, the Mango and Passion fruit Frappuccino syns have really bugged me. I am doing SW at home so don't have access to the database and couldn't find the syns before I had it. Oh well it’s all a learning curve. It just means I can't have the glass of wine I had pencilled in for during the x factor :(

Feel like I haven't eaten a lot today, but at the same time I haven't really been hungry - makes a change from how I was at the beginning of this week!

None. Eek! I woke up too late!

HEXA of cheese
Salad - 1/3

Dinner:
Pasta sauce with bacon and lots of vegetables - 0 & 1/3
Pasta - 0

Monday, Monday! Back on track with regular eating and upping my water consumption today. Only 2 days until my first weigh in woo! Today is the first day I have really missed chocolate, but it is all so high syn I can't justify it :(.

Tomorrow is weigh in. I cheekily weighed myself this morning and I have only lost 1lb so far. Bit disappointing in the first week of a diet, but I need to keep telling myself this isn't a diet it is a lifestyle change. SW is so easy to follow I can see me doing this for a long time!

Well today was my first weigh in and I have lost 1.5lbs. I did want to lose more in my first week, but I was a slow loser last time on SW so I don't think that is going to change. Plus, a loss is a loss.

Today was going well until I had a bad day at work. I am a bit on an emotional eater which I need to work on. So lunch was very naughty.

The olive oil syns were unexpected, but the bf made tea and it was part of the marinade for the tuna steaks. He didn't know about my cheese/chocolate button binge so thought I would have syns available.

Whoops! Didn't get time to post my food for yesterday as I was busy cross stitiching. Yes I am old before my time, but I love it and find it really relaxing. Currently completing a design for our living room which I am really excited about. Yesterday was a bit of a 'blah' day of eating. I couldn't really muster up the energy to think outside the box and ended up consuming more syns than I would of liked. I am feeling a bit off at the moment and think I have caught a bug going round which isn't fun. Anyway, to the food!

Hiya! I'm finding it fine thanks! Struggling finding things to use HEXA on. As not huge milk or cheese fan. But other than that it's going great :)
 
Well! I had the GNR at the weekend and was off plan Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. I'm not too mad at myself as my body needed to correctly fuel for 13.1 miles and then I needed to celebrate! Back on plan today :)

After a bad weekend I am trying to have two 0 syn days and bring myself back from the brink of a gain. I am getting a bit sick of going off plan, I hate the guilt and it just makes this weight loss journey ever longer. The scenic view, although sometimes nice can become frustrating!
