Losing my mind!!!.. Oh and weight..hopefully!!

    Hi all :)
    Quick introduction.. My name is Stef, I lost around 5 stone last yr for my wedding using various diets (mainly vlcd) managed to maintain it 6 months before the wedding too! After an all inclusive honeymoon, the excitement (or lazyness) of married life eating takeaway and eating out and then Xmas I gained 2 stone!
    I have booked to go back to the hotel in Malta where we got married and I AM going to be slimmer than the last time! My determination is through the roof! Did SW for abit but then decided to put my determination into good use.. This is why I went back to a vlcd.. And I'm doing fine, not struggling BUT I have only lost 4lb in 2 weeks :-! That is crap for a vlcd, especially the first 2 weeks, its suppose to be about 8-10lb!! So I am not putting my body through it for that!! I would rather use my packs doing this and (hopefully) get the same results! So here I go... Wish me luck!! X

    Thankyou :) I did try it once, I think I lost like 6lb in 5 weeks, but we will see what happens!
    Malta is lovely and warm, I love it!

    So first UD today, going to try and be carefull this week as I have been doing a vlcd.
    Breakfast has been sausage and egg.
    Dinner was a scone with jam and butter.
    Tea is chicken, leak, bacon and cheese with mash.

    Snack - kit kat

    So not near my UD target but taking this week abit more careful! X

    Had around 1350 cals today.
    So going to have sun, tues and Thurs as DDs :)

    DD today, going well. Had my son in the out of hours doctors in the night, he's got tonsilitus! So that's me and him at home for the next couple of days!

    On the website, it says I need 389 cals on my DD, but my packs come to 479! That's ok isn't it aslong as its under 500?? X

    Hi Stef, diary is called 'I can do this'
    i lost 5 pounds in week one and 3 pounds this week. Happy days.

    aiming for 2 or three pound again this week.

    Yes 500 kcals is perfect.

    So been shopping.. Bought a few treats for my UDs :-! Not sure if that's a good thing!! My plan is to have cereal or a scone for breakfast, a wrap maybe for dinner or pasta salad, and my usual tea which is some protein veg and either chips, mash or rice. I've bought some goodies, like dime bars and crisp, choc digestives.. If I don't go overboard on snacks I should be OK for an UD?? Or is suppose to be a healthy UD lol x

    That all sounds lush, no need to be healthy. I don't even count calories. You might find after a couple weeks that you would rather have healthy snacks.

    what have you eaten so today.
    Stick with it Hun, but the good thing about juddd is, you can always down a dd tomorrow if today hasn't worked as planned.

    Thanks :) bought some fruit too, so not all bad lol

    Well ive been having my vlcd packs, had 2 so only got one left, ive also had a bite of a pancake :-S !!! Probably have done about 550 once the day is over xx

    Decided to have stirfry instead of a pack, nearly same cals and more filling!

    So today has been...
    1 vlcd shake
    1 vlcd bar
    Stir fry with chicken strips
    1 light hot choc sAchet.

    Total cals 514

    Yeah agree with Karma, you might be better having food rather than shakes. Soups are always a good one on a DD day, I have mine with a Warburtons thin, toasted.
